"2 nights are the perfect amount of time to spend in this small costal town. We highly recommend Bay House as it is spacious, secure parking & beautiful views when relaxing on the patio. Jose was quick to respond when the coffee machine was not working, new 1 arrived to us same morning & this was a Sunday. We really hope to be back this way in November & will book again. "When I booked property it said 3 bedroom house. Instead it is a small motel and they gave us 3 out of 4 rooms and 2 of those had twin beds even though advertised as king. We made it work. It was the only pet friendly option we could find. Also, I booked through Expedia but was forced to download VRBO app to communicate. The map location sent us to the town square and we had to make an international call to get ahold of property owner via VRBO. She was very responsive and drove us to the location...

"The studio was right in the middle of town which made it convenient for groceries and orientation. The bed was firm and sheets clean. Coffee and sugar were supplied. Room for our car in a carport, and no worries about damage or theft. People of San Carlos were very friendly and helpful. Our hostess, Neyma Rivas, was gracious. A few things could be fixed: the shower had too little water pressure and was not warm enough. A couple more place settings would have made eating there more enjoyable....

"We had such a great time starting here. The only issue we had was finding the house for the first time. It is very secluded which is nice, but difficult when you are getting there for the first time. There were plenty of activities in the house and out of the house for all of us to enjoy. My kids have already asked when we will be going back to the beach house"

"Judith the host was amazing. Highly recommend her. Beautiful jacuzzi was not operating continuously and had to be turned on 5 hours prior to our soaks. Pool was too cold to swim in February.
