Muletown’s Modern Comfy Cottage is located in up and coming Columbia Tennessee. The location is very convenient. Located 6 miles from downtown Muletown. Down town is full of great places to dine and visit. Wonderful one of a kind dining experiences, antique shopping, boutiques, brewery’s and coffee shops adorn the quant little square. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a place to wind down with beer and wonderful snacks awaits you. If you are lucky enough to find yourself visiting the first Friday of every month you will find food trucks and craft vendors. The farmers market is located right off the square on the river walk. If you are in the mood for fine dining, hamburgers or bar hoping and karaoke you will find that on Riverside drive right off the square. The cottage is pet friendly and you can take Fido for a stroll on river walk or to the new dog park located at Maury County park. Load the bicycles provided and you will find scenic routes in short driving distances or just get your exercise in the sweet cottage neighborhood. There are nice scenic hiking trails within 5-10 miles as well. The Crossings in Spring Hill is 10 miles North and there you will find a nice updated movie theatre, well known shopping and chain type restaurants. Downtown Franklin is 20 miles North and has a very nice square with local eateries, shopping and a vintage movie theatre. Downtown Nashville is 40 miles North and full of nightly entertainment. If you are wanting more of a personal retreat, you will enjoy the cottages outdoor pool and hot tub. The pergola with swing and fire pit is a nice hangout and quite romantic spot. A nice friendly game of horseshoes or cornhole will make you feel down home. There is a parking garage and ample parking in the paved drive. Outdoor front porch bed swing to relax. In season, the herb garden to add to your homemade dishes for freshness. Screened in porch with a television and fan to retreat from the summertime bugs overlooking the swimming pool and picnic grill out back. My favorite room in the house is a fully enclosed heated and cooled sunporch with windows surrounding you and curtains you can pull and windows you can open if you desire privacy to enjoy a peaceful nap or if your lucky to snag that room a peaceful nights sleep. There is a cute comfy room kiddos will love with built ins flanking a custom queen bed and a smart tv. There is a cozy king bedroom with a incredible walk in tile shower equipped with a rain head steps away. There is also an on suite with a cozy King bed and jacuzzi tub as well as a walk in closet if you require ample closet space. All bedrooms are adorned with a smart tv. The living area has a comfy recliner and sofa along with a comfy settee and table and chairs to play games, work puzzles or enjoy a snack. Watch a movie and enjoy the relaxing fireplace in winter or summer as it has the option to use with or without heat. The kitchen is equipped with all things needed to whip up a warm meal or nice sandwich or coffee to sit at the eat in breakfast nook while enjoying the birds in the nice mature trees and gaze at the neighbors walking their dogs. You will find a raised bar in the kitchen and a small office with nice windows and a printer for those working remotely. Downstairs is a full bathroom with a walk in tile shower and luxury rainhead . You will find a pool table, small beverage bar fridge and smart tv for some friendly pool games and a nice cool retreat from the summertime pool activities. There is a small workout room surrounding you with mirrors and a smart tv located downstairs in a private noise dampened room as well. The cottage can easily and comfortably sleep 8 guests. If you require more space we will provide a pull out mattress and the sofa.
