Days Inn by Wyndham Colorado City

10/10 Excellent

"Super chill place would come again"

Spacious new home, mtn views, CO City-Rye, RV Hook-Up, golfing, hiking, fishing

10/10 Excellent

"We truly loved our 2 week stay here at this beautiful home! Everything was so perfect! The mountain views are even more breathtaking in person! The deck is awesome too, we had a 14 month old & we didn’t have to worry about her, as there are no steps on it. She loved to play on it while we just sat there relaxing & enjoying the scenery. Loved seeing the mule deer often right there, especially the 3 huge bucks that hung out with the does. One Sunday after going to the Catholic Church in Rye, we toured the Bishop’s Castle which was only approx. 17 miles away from the VRBO, and it was totally amazing, then continued on down the road for a lovely ride thru the mountains, and also loved seeing the leaves starting to change to the Fall colors. The next Sunday, after church, we went to Pueblo to the Arkansas Riverwalk which was awesome, with so much to see. Colorado City, where the VRBO is located, has some very nice restaurants and also an awesome Bolt Burger place, a real nice grocery store & pharmacy, a mechanic vehicle repair shop, and even an Ace Hardware and golf course. The people here at this town are so accommodating! We sure hope to be back as we hated to leave this place. We had the best hosts! Thanks so much! The Zimmerer’s from Nebraska"

Rustic Cozy Cabin at the base of Greenhorn Mountain.

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was as good or even usually better than we expected. Stayed at a lot of places-and every once and a while owners try to think of every little thing that would be there to make staying almost like at home-this is one of those places-great place-peaceful -and just what we needed."

Two Bears Cabin: Secluded Mountain Retreat near Lake Isabel.

10/10 Excellent

"This is a wonderful cabin, with every amenity you could ask for. The hosts, Tammi and Phillip, were very responsive to our every need. It's a beautiful location. The fires didn't come near enough to ruin the beautiful Aspen. Highly recommend!"

Big Pine Cabin/ 4 bedrooms/ 1 1/2 bath

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed at the Pines while our home was being mitigated for smoke. Maryann was so sweet and accommodating, we felt right at home during our stay. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room for our family of 5. The screen porch was absolutely amazing. The surroundings are beautiful. I can’t recommend this place enough. We would definitely stay here again."

"What a lovely house! The decor is fresh and pretty, and the house is very clean and well-appointed. The host has it stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen - including a few thoughtful snacks. The beds are extremely comfortable and have nice bedding. This house has so much charm! The host was friendly and responsive.Great location to walk to Stomping Grounds, Beulah Inn, and the general store. Highly recommend!"

Maria Lake Ranch Retreat #8, located near the shores of Maria Lake.

10/10 Excellent

"Great stay at Maria Lake: fantastic staff and perfect for fishingWe stayed at Lot 8 at Maria Lake in Wallenberg, and it was a great home base for fishing Larthrop. The location couldn't have worked better for us.What really stood out was the staff. We had a small hiccup when our key didn't work, and before I could even get through to the main line, Marcus was already on his way over to help. While that got sorted out, the ladies came down, brought us up to the clubhouse, got us drinks, and even offered us dinner. That kind of hospitality is hard to find. They turned a minor problem into one of the highlights of the trip. The unit itself is an older trailer, but it's been well kept and is in great shape. It had everything we needed.Great crew, great spot. We're already looking forward to next time!"
