顧客のリクエストに対し、大変柔軟性に富んだ対応をしてくれるスタッフが多いです。中でも、レセプションのスタッフはとても優秀で、プロ意識が高く、ホスピタリティに優れています。フレンドリーな彼らにより、全ての不安・疑問が瞬く間に解決し、私達は心から寛いだ素晴らしい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。・メニューに無い物も、聞いてみてください。・欲しい物があったら、購入先を聞いてみてください。・アレンジしてくれるタクシーは、正直で安全で快適で安心です。私達は、ホテルライフにとても満足し大変感謝しています。

都会のオアシス

閑静なエリアにひっそりと佇む隠れ家的なホテルですが、一歩中に入るとうっとりするほど素敵な空間にテンションがあがります。部屋は広く、アメニティも充実しています。四種の紅茶とホームメイドのお菓子プレートも用意されていて、贅沢な気分を満喫しました。

ガイドにとってはメジャーなホテルではないので、住民の方に尋ねながら到着しました。外装から素敵な雰囲気。プールサイドを歩きながらお部屋へ。お部屋は十分すぎる広さでシックな雰囲気。水回りも清潔で、アメニティはスリッパ〜あかすりまで(！)一通りそろってました。夜にはプールサイドから音楽が流れてきて、良い雰囲気。朝ごはんはメニューからひとつオーダーするタイプで、洋食メインですが多くの選択肢がありました。部屋に蚊が5匹いて対処が必要でしたが、それを超えるくらい良い滞在でした。

An 5 star and private boutique hotel. There are only 11 suite rooms therefore guests that stay here value the privacy and exclusivity of the property. Shouldn’t allow corporate function or event to be held in the small property. Event held during my stay had occupied the swimming pool, courtyard, restaurant and lobby. All these are within a few hundred feet from the rooms.

Uga Residences - A fanciful home away from home!

The staff at Uga were amazing, and the room size and comfort is simply outstanding. To top it all off, each meal there is a culinary delight, from a simple croissant, to the amazing steaks for dinner. truly one of the best properties i have stayed at.

A very comfortable oasis in the middle of Colombo. The beautiful pool only has 4 sunbeds round it, but while we were there this was never a problem. As is customary in Sri Lanka the service is glacially slow in the bar and restaurant. The restaurants in Park Street Mews next door are worth investigating.

Very happy with experience at this hotel. Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was very smiley, accommodating, and helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was 10/10 delicious. Location was great too, only a short walk to a lot of temples and sightseeing places. Only slight con was that our bathroom door didn’t lock properly. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Colombo!

The room was huge with a very comfy bed. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with a lovely pool. Very clean. The gym is very very basic. The staff were attentive but a little slow. The restaurant food was actually vile - weird fusion food like chicken with apple (?!). Overall a good stay. Loved that there’s tea making facilities in the room.

Enastående vackert litet boutiquehotell. Bodde i presidentsviten som var mycket rymlig o fin. Mycket fina och vackra lokaliteter Härlig pool. Fin restaurang som vi inte hann med att pröva för vi bodde bara en natt. Baren var bra. Frukost mycket bra. Mycket trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Vill man ha lugn och ro och inte bli störd av hotellgäster är detta mycket bra.

A fantastic oasis with the best food in Sri Lanka

Residence by Uga Escapes is a truly luxurious experience. In the center of Colombo (near one of the more famous Buddhist temples) you find this oasis. Right next to the hotel there is also an alley with restaurants with a varied cuisine. With that said, you won't need it as Residence by Uga Escapes has a fantastic restaurant. It it by far the best food we ate during our three week trip to Sri Lanka. What makes this restaurant stick out is it's Sri Lanka-touch on it's fusion food. Rather than offering only Sri Lanka-food or fusion food this combines the two and makes it wonderfully. It also has a really good espresso martini! Other than the food everything else was also impecable. Good and really helpful service, nice rooms, tasteful decorations both inside and outside of the rooms. Nice swimming pool!

City centre sanctuary!

The Residence is a wonderful small oasis of calm in the chaotic maelstrom that is Colombo. With the rooms, bar and restaurant wrapped around an inner courtyard, featuring the small lap pool, you get idyllic peace and quiet - until you venture out to enjoy the vibrate downtown Colombo.

An exquisite and unique experience!

Succeeded all of our expectations... The most beautiful hotel, with warm, hospitable and very professional staff. I would not have changes a thing! It was really an oasis in the city, and with relatively few roms, it felt almost like a private villa with a big lovely pool, plus a superb restaurant with a fresh, modern, varied and delicious meny (and an exclussive wine cellar!) Their motto was "feel like home" and it really did - we were sad to leave to continue our vacation outsider of Colombo...The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, but with a chique street with lovely restaurants and bars just a hundre metres from the hotel , several sightseeing spots nearby and a short tok-tok trip from the busier parts of town. We hope to come back and enjoy the lovely ambience once more...

Great Colonial Hotel in Heart of Colombo

Great small boutique hotel in the heart of Colombo. It is walking distance to all main 'attractions' and also provides a good quiet escape from the chaos going on around you. I would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Colombo.

Not so great if you're "local"

The hotel looks amazing and it has been maintained really well. It was our second trip there and I must say I was disappointed by the service. The checking process was relatively pain-free but it all went downhill from there. I can't imagine how a simple request for an ice bucket could take up to an hour and when we sat around for breakfast we noticed that foreigners who came in after us were served before us. The restaurant manager made it a point to speak to everyone about their meals but never bothered with us. They went out of their way for foreign guests but dealt with our requests with nothing but apathy. It is really sad to see staff being prejudiced in this day and age, specially when we locals pay the same amount. I am thoroughly disgusted by this and will take it up with the management.

UGA, makes its great to be in Sri Lanka

For improvement:- 1) Mosquitoes and cockroaches, lots. But the team cleaned them out speedily 2) Bathroom layout, could have been more practical 3) Too many doors to open to come back to the hotel room, at least 3 Really Great:- 4) Fast to listen to feedback, acted on the feedback, which is crucial 5) fairly new hotel, noticed the owner is constantly on upgrading the property 6) a posh location for families and young hipsters to hang out and dine 7) 10 rooms and 1 suite, so the guests can feel at home without the crowds 8) the breakfast and dinner are amazingly good, asked for recommendations from the team 9) room is really large 10) Service is exceptionally well

A beautiful relaxing boutique hotel in a quiet but accessible part of Colombo. Our room was palatial and very comfortable. Welcome drink and tray of sweets and chocolate was a lovely touch. Staff were very attentive and efficient. The bar and restaurant were fantastic. Great cocktails, wonderful food- Euro-Asian fusion, but leaning more to European. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and hope to return there soon.

We have rented this venue while our visit to Colombo and instantly fell in love with its charm and colonial ambiance. The lobby/bar/restaurant/pool area etc. are very well maintained, cleaned every day, and has a nice vibe. The rooms are large, clean and well attended to. The service and food are excellent and the location is also well situated (Colombo 3). A street hosting numerous bars/cafés/restaurants is walking distance as well as a temple. I highly recommend this venue for your stay in Colombo.
