"As many of the other reviews stated, the breakfast here is simply awesome. The host were so nice and accommodating as well. The pool was such a relaxing and wonderful amenity. "We loved staying at Casa al Mar! We were in an ocean-view suite. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the Malecon. Not the quietest room as it's right above the hustle and bustle of La Paz's main drag, but super-fun in a perfect location to take in all that La Paz has to offer. The lobby and courtyard are so warm, relaxing, and welcoming, and the staff is great. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel staff was really nice and friendly for the most part. The only thing I would have to say is that the room didn't have a TV. Also the dog's parking at night was not a good thing. "This place is in walking distance to the Malecon which is the main strip. Literally 2 blocks away. It’s quiet, it had a nice little bar with a great bartender (Luis) that knows his drinks. He’s super friendly, and gives you recommendations for dinning. Great place to stay. This was our second time here. I love it!"

"We had a great time at Hotel Catedral! The rooms were well insulated and quiet. We had a first floor room that opened directly on the courtyard and rarely heard anyone else around. We loved the space for its private mini patio as well. The staff were all very nice and we enjoyed the breakfasts and hanging at the pool (from which you can see wedding parties coming and going from the next door cathedral). It was a great location to explore La Paz and we always felt safe in the neighborhood. Will stay again."
