Very outdated. Balcony furniture broken. No fly screens. Toilet system noisy seems to run all the time. You can hear all other rooms around you. But on a good note it was clean. Bed was comfortable.

Stop over en route to Gold Coast, reception helpful with advice on dining options, but being adjacent to Motorway resulted in a very restless night, did notice that ear plugs in bathroom the next morning maybe they would have helped!!!

Highway traffic and early morning construction noise were off-putting. Also, the property listed laundry as something offered at the motel. It turned out to just be a limited laundry service offered from 10-5 daily, not an onsite washer and dryer. The receptionist was nice enough to direct me to a local laundromat, but would have preferred to have had it onsite.

Property was fine but location was not. Constant traffic, trucks, compression braking, Even horns and sirens. To repeat, the property itself is fine, but would not stay there again due to noise

Pleased to find full facilities…ie cutlery, plates, microwave, plenty of toiletries etc, all of which seem to be disappearing out of similar motels. Particularly liked the very clean bathroom and excellent shower.

Great location and very clean
I found the Motor Inn very comfortable with excellent room provisions allowing for my own preparation of breakfast. Having a Microwave, toaster etc was great. Bed comfortable and bathroom although a little dated was totally fine and very clean. Traffic noise in the morning was not excessive despite being reasonably close to the Highway. Very convenient location and very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again

Whilst parking can be a little tight for large vehicles, the rest of the service, cleanliness, and comfort was excellent as usual when we stay here at the Matador.

Quick overnight stay on way to Queensland. Motel convenient, clean and comfortable but very dated. Warned of traffic noise, however it was Far Worse. Even though earplugs were supplied it couldn't drown out the 1000 plus trucks that passed by. Made worse by the fact that the hotel was on the corner with traffic lights and trucks going down hill. Owners lovely and helpful, feel sorry for their location.

Great little hotel for an overnight stop. Clean and tidy. Everything you need. But so so loud. Unfortunately we had the room closest to the highway and the noise from trucks all night was crazy.

We will not use it again. Reported door catch which caught my tee shirt ripping - it very sharp. Mentioned to staff and reception - very indifferent. Very very noisy - such that they provided ear plugs - and paid $20 extra to secure ground floor room, Rip off. Will not recommend and never use again.

Property is adjacent to the highway running through Coffs. HGVs run past the property and our room was at the end of the "block", just 20 metres from the road. It was noisy. Other rooms further away may not have had this problem. Ear plugs were supplied (thus recognising that there is a noise problem) but the other observation of the area is that there are a lot of motels on the same street. Most seemed to be a little further back than the end room we had at the Matador. The room size was good. The air con worked beautifully after a hot day in the car and the pool was nice and refreshing for a cool down.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had to delay a booking for one night very late in the day because of a family issue and they were totally understanding. This place is ideal for a quick overnight stop, being right next door to the highway. Great motel.
