The lane to the property is unmetaled & a farm track but it's not very far from the road so did not pose an issue for us. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. "My room was clean, of a good size and with a very comfortable bed. Without air conditioning, and during a heat wave, it was hot! However, a fan had been provided and was running when I arrived. Without exception, the staff were friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was adequate, although a greater variety of fresh fruit would have been welcome. The restaurant food was of a very high standard, but if you are fortunate enough to have a voucher, do not just show the waiter at the beginning of the meal. My waiter forgot to deduct the 40% and by the time I realised, cashing up had been done and I lost it."
