We might call these ulra posh "granny cottages" rather than "bungallows" Or, do you remember Channel 4s "Grand Designs" an architectural TV series? These "bungallows are sort of ultra posh modern "Grand Designs" "garden rooms". Really pleasant and comfortable. The high ceilings of the "bungallows" offer a really nice sofabed space. Our "Grand Designs" "bungallow" was, however, on a quiet dead-end road, not by a shimmering azure pool or a cute paving path between bungallows. But, being on the road actually gave us the feeling of being in a house and living on a very nice street. Which was very nice. The street runs - almost level - to the beach, around a corner. The sand isn't deep and soft but it is in a safe wide cove shape. I was delighted that my precious daughter wouldn't be swept away by ocean currents. The flightpath to the airport is high, so we didn't find the planes intrusive. We like the sense of connection that resorts near airports give. At the other side of the curved Playa del Castillo is a little "marina" with a FAB restaurant called, La Mar Salada, which had FABOTASTICO gambas al ajo, prawns in garlic. Extremely nice receptionists - including a lovely girl from Argentina. In summary, we loved our stay.

Fabulous Staff. Entertainment was excellent. Luca I think the guys name was, he really got the crowd going. Excellent location. Right next to the beach. Food was good.

First impressions ok reception was brief not forthcoming with much information about area or availability. Ie: we were not told they offer pool towels so went out and purchased only to discover from other guests that we could have rented them from hotel. Day 3 major renovations commenced Day renovations continued both sides of our room the noise was unbearable from 8.30 in the morning to 19.30 Day 4 noise continued We were not given any prior warning no attempt was made to apologise the manager seemed to think this was acceptable We tried to get a little peace around the pool but workmen were coming and going all day with machinery and furniture We did complain and the manager offered us 10% discount if we wanted to return next year We will definitely never return to this hotel so we contacted Expedia for help they were very sympathetic and agreed that the noise was unacceptable as the call handler commented that he could hear it plainly in the background of the call they contacted the property on our behalf but the manager would do nothing more. Beds were uncomfortable Sea view we paid extra for was very limited The reception has very limited openings times and we found the whole experience very unpleasant If you are staying at this hotel in the next few weeks be prepared for noise and disappointment Without doubt the worst hotel we have ever stayed in One more observation make sure you have basic supplies on arrival as they don’t supply anything not even water☹️

Amazing apartment, great view, really quiet, nice staff. Taxi between hotel and airport costs around 80-100 EUR. Supermarket is a 15/20 minute walk. Nice, quiet beach and nice beach bar less than a 10 minute walk. Keep in mind: Spa only opens 4h/day, for individual use of 2h. Can only be booked on arrival (no booking in advance). This means only two people/rooms can book for any given day for a 2h block. 99% chance it'll be already fully booked for the majority of your stay once you arrive. The hotel across the road has spa treatments, but sadly no day access to spa. There's no pool side bar. Bar only opens when restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner.
