The owners were so gracious with us. The batteries in the lock on the door died, and we had to call them late for help getting in. They came so quickly and helped us, and I really appreciated it. They changed the batteries right away, even helped the kids carry suitcases. So nice! The kids loved having their own rooms, and the space was so perfect.

Great place for our ice fishing trip to the Mississippi River. Can’t beat this lodge in terms of meeting our needs and location. Owners are very responsive when questions came up. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Fishing Getaway

We had a family from newborn to 74 years old and every age in between. We loved having a warm dry place to come back to after fishing the Alma float all day. Amazing fish cleaning station and all the necessities to dry up our catch. We would definitely stay here again.

It was great for the wedding we had in Nelson. Plenty of beds and rooms.very clean and very well Only problem we encountered was the stairway going up to property were very narrow and having a two year old with no gate on steep staircase.

The pictures do not do the lodge justice. Once inside, it is fantastic! It’s very clean, lots of knotty pine, beautiful! The owners have done an exceptional job. We will be staying again soon!

We have stayed here several times the last few years for deer hunting opener. Don and Sue have always been excellent hosts. The property is very clean, well-stocked, and cozy. I highly recommend this property! The location is convenient a few blocks off the highway and there are a few bars/restaurants within walking distance. Anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while in the area should check this one out!

Comfortable stay. There was an issue with the code not working but the host was able to go unlock the door. By the time we got back from dinner we were able to get in and unpacked. Host was checking on why the code wouldn’t work as it should. Not an issue with host. Code should have worked
