「The bar was enjoyable, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for a long stay. Hand soap is used instead of shampoo/conditioner, no laundry facilities even tho it says they are available (apparently it’s only for the campsite) and it’s a VERY small area, this being the only place with food. There is a little shop down the road but other than that it’s pretty much a ghost town. I’d recommend for hikers/campers. The bedsheets made me itch all night for whatever reason (this is my 5th stay in Ireland...

「My wife and I had a wonderful (though too short) stay at Barrow Lodge. Our host was the epitome of friendliness and helpfulness, providing suggestions for local gems. The room was perfect with lovely decor, a long tub to soak in, and a gorgeous view of the water. The breakfast was entirely homemade, with many options. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.」
