Great Little Spot!

Met a friend here for 4 nights in Cleveland. Great place to stay! It's an older house that has been renovated/updated. Ken was very responsive to any needs we had. The place was clean and well appointed. Would gladly stay again!!!

Tidy with great access to amenities

This property was clean with friendly and easy to understand communication from the host. We spent most of our time enjoying the amenities of the city, and this property had great access to lots of museums for my children and I to go to, and had just the right amount of space for us to settle in after a busy day experiencing Cleveland. Loved the games made available by the host, and we took the opportunity to play Yahtzee several times.

Quiet and perfect location

Needing to be spending several days doing to do tests at Cleveland Clinic, this was the first time we decided to do a Vrbo rather than a hotel. Perfectly located and quiet, even with the windows open at night. Ken was more than gracious, allowing us a later check out so we didn't have to sit at the clinic waiting for my appointment. We are so grateful!

Great Staycation/Vacation!

My best friend came to visit from Seattle while I live in the area. The house was perfect for our weekend and we go to explore tons of northeast Ohio - including the Larchmere area which has always been in my backyard. Ken was accessible and a great host. The house was super clean and had everything we needed to add to a wonderful weekend.

Hidden Gem

We love Cleveland. Even though we are from out of town, we frequently will make a road trip to Cleveland to enjoy its rich selection of museums, and attractions. Previously, we had chosen hotels to stay, and this time, we decided to stay at a VRBO property. I am very happy to say that this property was perfect for our family. It is located in a convenient place, a neighborhood that is undergoing a lot of restoration. This is a very comfortable and clean property. We were easily able to go to many attractions without a long drive. There is a Brazilian restaurant just down the street which is absolutely fabulous, and should not be missed (Batuquí). Some of my family is from Brazil, and this was seriously authentic, delicious food and drink. Do not miss it! The proprietors were very friendly in their communications, and the cleanliness of the unit cannot be overstated – there were no areas of disappointment, and this property is a really great place to spend several days if you are in the area. This rental was so wonderful, that if we are to return to Cleveland in the future, we would absolutely stay there again. It really was a lot of fun.

We enjoyed this cozy place , the location is perfect only 9min to Cleveland Clinic and the shops on Lachmere were adorable we even had a chance to watch local performance of pure art @ the Unbar they gather evet 1st and 3rd Friday of the month a free event where the gifted artist give back to the community. As a bonus our host Kenya was very pleasant to deal with . We’ll be back .

Expectation

Our location was pretty much what was expected! Our host was very responsive and our location was just as pictured minus the parts heading in, but owner did say they were remodeling and updating. It had all the basic necessities and a little info sheet with shops. We ended up leaving early because for us there weren’t many attractions to keep us in the city! Overall no problems with our rental and we had a great time during the time we spent there! Thank you!

Nice surprise

Unit is located near Shaker Heights in a quite neighborhood. All surrounding homes appear to be well taken care of. Local restaurants are very walkable. Kenya was very responsive and answered all out inquiries quickly. Unit was very clean and bright. They do have window AC in the main bedroom and a mobile AC unit in the kitchen to cool the main portion of the unit. The second bedroom did get a bit warm despite ceiling fans being present. Unit has three Roku TV's which was nice but still would like to be able to access local news and weather via an antenna. Maybe it was just me but could not seem to be able to access local channels. The main bedroom remote stopped working after the 1st day and I let Kenya know when we departed. All in all this was a very pleasant stay and would consider rebooking in the future

My worst experience as a traveller

To preface, the owner of the unit we subleased from was pleasant and very communicative. When I would message them, they responded swiftly. Now on to the meat and potatoes of this review. We arrive and we couldn't see the house number clearly enough so we had to do a few uturns till we find it. Once we found it, the spot for our parking in the drive way was taken up (parking on the street was illegal overnight, so we messaged the subleaser and they had that resolved. We walk to the backdoor and there is mounds of trash that we had to walk by/through to get in. The unit is upstairs, and the downstairs tenant posted a paper saying that the washer and dryer in that unit is not for the VRBO and to leave it alone. We ヽ( ｡ヮﾟ)ノ and move on to our unit. We walk in, and the AC was pumping and it felt great getting into a cold apartment. My wife needed to use the lou so she does. There wasn't any toilet paper. Anywhere. At all. I messaged the subleaser and they advised that they will bring some over right away. 20 minutes later and there was some on the steps. My wife goes to wash her hands and the soap dispenser looked like it had water added to it 8 times over to extend its life. But at this point, a squirt of soap was more like running your hand under the faucet. So we bought some from the store. We received this message after we are settling in Also, the AC window unit was supposed to be installed in the front bedroom. I hear that it isn't even install correctly, so the cleaner didnt want to try and move it. I sent the handyman a message , but no response yet. If you need it moved, I'll reach out to the management company or someone who is not on holiday. We are exhausted so we go to take a nap. The bedroom was about 89 degrees and the apartment was about 65. When we woke up we were drenched in sweat. It was a miserable experience. To Kenya's benefit they offered to move it, but lets be honest here. This is something that should have been resolved prior to our stay. This was in July, middle of the summer, not in early spring. Immagine my disgust and frustration when I discover every dish is dirty. I could literally rub my finger on any and every dish and debris and sauce was present. We washed every dish just to use them.. They did not provide logged in streaming accounts either. I won't stay at this property again as it caused more stress then is solved. We ended up getting another vrbo. I suggest you do the same.

Excellent Home and Service

I can not say enough nice things about this home and our host. The only problem we had was getting the Smart Tv's to program, but that was not the Hostesses fault. The previous guest must have changed it. Check in was simple. Our keys were there waiting for us when we came in at 10 pm. The home was clean, beds were comfortable, every necessity we needed. All we had to buy was our food to cook. The area is very quiet and comfortable. If you've never been to Cleveland the rural area's shut down at 8 at night, which I think is great. The Scenary is beautiful, they have cute little Mom and Pop shops just a brief walk down the streets for window shopping or buying. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Kenya is an Excellent hostess always very attentive.
