Really nice place to stop off, felt like an extension of holiday with pool, kids play area etc. Likely to return again next year! Only downside was dinner, disappointed with choice (burger) and a ridiculous amount of flies inside the dining hall

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in a hotel! Very enjoyable experience. We checked in very late but were still able to get some food from the bar. The beds were super comfortable and all the staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel was excellent, very clean and well maintained much better than we expected for a hotel close to the main road. The swimming pool looked lovely al though we didn't use it. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice although it was rather expensive.

Kids loved the pool. Breakfast was a good selection with all you need. Room is spacious, charming and clean.The ev chargers were a bonus. All staff very helpful and friendly (and speak great English!).

I liked it had shuttle service to the airport. While I mentioned this was important at check in, I wasn’t told I needed to place a reservation for the shuttle. I did get on the shuttle by luck. It is a nice hotel with a lovely lobby.

A nice modern hotel.

A nice modern hotel, on arrival we had a pleasant surprise of a room upgrade. It was lovely, clean and comfortable. One strange point was the toilet was rather compact, but without space for a handwash basin. You had to walk to the shower room to wash your hands. Felt that was slightly odd, but ok as only there one night.

Very nice hotel. Absolutely terrific restaurant.

The Novotel in Clermont-Ferrand was conveniently just off the autoroute. Good protected parking and very efficient check-in. (And they are DOG FRIENDLY). Rooms are what you expect, although our room was way too warm and even we couldn't regulate the temperature satisfactorily. Not sure what was going on, but the thermostat was not responding. The best part: The food offerings at the Novotel are excellent. A very good bar menu of bistro fare, including Croque Monsieurs. But the restaurant itself is terrific. Way beyond anything you would imagine at a Novotel. We will stay there again just for the restaurant!

Arrived at 11pm to an empty Reception area. Waited a few minutes and then found 3 staff near the bar, one of whom appeared to be the Manager who accompanied me back to the Reception area when the staff member re-appeared. Curt and perfunctory check in with minimal information given over and I had to ask how to get to my room.

TRAFFIC NOISE

AWFUL__Always use Novotels in France--never this one again. My room was so noisy could hear constant traffic noise, also room hot and temperature control in effective as when on made a noise.

L’établissement s’est révélé bien au-dessus de nos espérances. L’accueil est véritablement parfait. J’avais formulé une demande particulière afin que nous puissions être dans la même chambre, et celle-ci a été très gentiment prise en compte. Un accueil vraiment exquis, à l’image de l’ensemble de l’établissement. La chambre est confortable, silencieuse et d’une grande propreté. Le hall d’entrée est également très beau et élégant, avec de nombreux sièges et fauteuils qui invitent à se détendre en toute saison. La piscine est, elle aussi, très agréable. Une mention toute particulière pour le restaurant Ernest, dont le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Et un merci tout particulier à une charmante serveuse pour son précieux conseil concernant les délicieuses glaces artisanales : une très belle découverte ! La proximité de l’autoroute constitue également un véritable atout, d’autant que nous n’avons absolument pas été gênés par le bruit dans la chambre. En résumé, un hôtel parfait, où tout est réuni pour passer un agréable séjour. Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir !
