"The most amazing property with superb views, oodles to do for entertainment. The pool and spa facilities are amazing and all the sports equipment were well used by our family group. There was 38 of us, across three generations and we would visit again in a heart beat!"

"Good parking Check out at 10 am is too early for travelers Breakfast poor: we only got a bottle of milk no juice in the refrigerator. Our room has no air conditioner , has a fan instead. Disappointed ,room doesn’t look anything like pictures shown Windows has no screen, so when we open to get fresh air, bugs flown in. Fortunately we only stay one night otherwise I wouldn’t stay longer."

"Very nice house, awesome pool. Pascal is a very friendly host!"

"Janet and Chris were very welcoming and the property was clean, nice decor and well furnished, an ideal size for a couple or even with a child. It was a great base to explore a part of France that we were unfamiliar with and our dog was well catered for with nice walks in the area and also from the cottage."

"We had a great time coming here. The kids immediately loved the house. Great to visit the castles in the region. Pool was perfect for the kids. House is like advertised and the owners were really nice."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The Hosts were extremely courtesy and welcoming! They gave us a nice tour of the place when we arrived. Our younger kids enjoyed the trampoline that was available as well. The only thing we didn't realize was that the linens were an extra charge as the listing said they were provided. Other than the communication was excellent! We would happily stay there again if in the area. Thanks for allowing us to make memories at your Gite!"

"We had a wonderful holiday in this spacious gite. The pool was a big hit with the children and a perfect escape from the heat ! The location is set in acres of stunning scenery, yet you aren’t far from bakeries, butchers and supermarkets etc.. Local wine and produce is very good value and Relais Routiers close to the gite were superb for lunch, 4 courses including wine for just €13. "My family had a lovely stay at Vanessa’s property. The pool was beautiful, and the house was well equipped for a family with children under 5. There were more than enough toys to occupy our little ones, and they loved having the choice of spending hours in the pool, or on the trampoline. Would love to stay again!"

"The house is located pretty much outside any urban noises which was exactly what we wanted. The setting of the house is very well designed. Plenty of space for sports, games, swimming in the lovely swimming pool. Overall, we had a great time staying there. We'll probably book it again in future. "

Best Western Premier Hotel de la Cite Royale

"Beautiful place to stay with outside terrace and bar. The spa was lovely, although the pool a little cold The bar and terrace was closed the second night we were there for a private function, disappointed we wouldn’t use it and no other provision was made for residents to have a drink. There is a large restaurant area and some of this could have been used. "

"We were the only people in this chateau which was nice but kind of weird. They just reopened we were told. I liked my room; the mattress was very comfortable and the fabric on the walls was very elegant. It was a little tight with the queen bed but it was fine. The bathroom was fine apart from the 1/2 circle shower which I continuously banged into while showering. Other than that it was fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing around this place; in the middle of nowhere. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pierre et Vacances in Loches. The apartment was clean, quiet and quite spacious (for the 2 of us) and we had a nice balcony overlooking the town. The parking was very good and it is a few minutes walk into the town where there are several places to eat."

"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"Beautiful accommodation and surroundings.our boys enjoyed jumping in the swim pool after a long journey. Our room was excellent and very comfortable. We stayed on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed. We went out for dinner and returned around 9.30pm and the bar area was closed. It looked lovely and would have been nice to sit and enjoy a drink."
