8.2/10 Very Good! (409 reviews)
Breakfast was lovely and staff welcoming. Plenty of trams and buses available. We walked from Milano Central to the hotel - 1 hour. Pleasant walk on the flat. Walk to the city centre approximately 15 minutes. The hotel was spotless and well maintained, decor a little dated (90s). Would recommend and would stay again.

9/10 Wonderful! (1,001 reviews)
Really good stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were given a lovely large room that was cool in the city’s heat. The location of the hotel is perfect. Lots of lovely and good bars and restaurants in this area. Be warned the mosquitos move into the city in July and August, specifically near the canal. The hotel was undergoing some works when we where there so I am sure what was already very good, is about to be even better. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

The breakfast is amazing! Very clean and spacious rooms. Staff are great from reception to the servers. We are staying in the executive rooms and they gave us permission to eat and drink everything in the minibar/fridge throughout our stay with a personalized letter. Very close to the Genova Brignole train station and close/walking distance to a lot of restaurants/the fun things happening around, quite a few grocery stores within 2-3 minutes walk, there’s a farmers market style open market (Like Granville Island in Vancouver BC within 3 minutes walk; Called MOG Genoa where you can buy lots of fresh food stuffs if you need, the UNESCO protected historical buildings (Piazza De Ferrari, Aquarium of Genoa, Porto Antico etc are within 10-15 minutes walk one way). Beautiful hotel, loved our stay, will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Genoa 🇮🇹

9/10 Wonderful! (1,006 reviews)
I have mixed feelings about my stay here. On one hand, the hotel itself is wonderful. It is clean, comfortable, and the location is fantastic and close to everything. However, my check-in experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. My booking was for a double room or one bed depending on availability. When I arrived, I was told a room with two beds was unavailable unless I paid a €40/night upgrade fee, plus an additional €20 processing fee. In other words, two-bed rooms were available, but they refused to honor the standard availability clause without charging extra. To make matters worse, the staff member explicitly brought up that I had gotten a good deal on Expedia in the same breath, making it feel like I was intentionally being penalized for booking through a third party. While the physical stay was great, being forced into an extra fee right at check-in felt completely dishonest. Enjoy the location, but be very cautious if you book through an OTA or need a specific bed setup.
