"Communication prior to arrival difficult. We were given a short boat tour, without being asked, and later charged for it, as was each boat trip. Property not the one advertised and rented, it was much smaller..Just as we were leaving we were presented with 90 45 soles in extra charges, which had never been declared. Each time the 3 of us got in his bost it cost us 45 soles or $18.. The tiny cabin was very cold, unheated. Temperature dropped to 9 at night. We slept very little, and myself only 1...

"We visited the place at the end of August. We had a wonderful experience. Felix went above and beyond to accommodate for us. We got to the lake very late, around 10 PM but Felix was still nice and picked us up from the lake sure. The tour the day after was great and the breakfast was very good. The room was ver clean. The experience was great. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Felix!"

"We had the most wonderful trip to Puno and Lake Titicaca and mostly because we had Lucy as our host! She helped arrange transportation from the airport and were dropped off to her front door where she was waiting to greet us. "This hotel has outstanding overseeing view of Titicaca lake. Watching sunrise from the room is magnificent experience. Room is nice and bed was very comfortable. Hotel has a garden overseeing Titicaca lake and beautiful sunset and sunrise could be seen. Dinner at restaurants was very delicious. My stay at GHL hotel Lago Titicaca was amazing and would definitely stay again. "

"The property is beautiful, and the family here is so sweet and welcoming. They have an option to have lunch and dinner made for you, which I highly recommend as you are not on the mainland. The food was delicious and healthy. The view of the stars at night was breathtaking. The option to dress in traditional cloths and have a reed boat ride on the lake at sunset was unforgettable. This was my favorite part of our Peru trip, and I wish we had the opportunity to stay even longer. "

"Our stay at the Sonesta Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They may need to be reminded of any ask twice, but they are really good people. The location is breathtaking. Waking up to panoramic views of Lake Titicaca from our room was an experience I’ll never forget. The room itself was spotless, beautifully appointed, and cozy. And there were alpacas and guinea pigs at the courtyard. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant, which offered a mix of local and Italian cuisine. The hotel’s grounds are immaculate, with peaceful gazebos and a firepit to enjoy the sunset. You can also arrange tours to Uros and Taquile Islands by boat - right from the hotel beach. Oh, they have oxygen in the hotel, too! Stunning, thoughtful and relaxing."
