"Beautiful cabin with scenic views of mountains and the river. Chris was the best host and Boots and Oscar were fast friends. The Barn was so clean and had everything needed for our stay. We will definitely return in the future for another stay!"

"The home is very comfortable and relaxing. It served our needs perfectly as we were visiting with family in the area. The layout is different from the norm. Not sure if we knew this or not ahead of time; however, the kitchen, dining room and primary bedroom are on the second floor. Whether you came in from the elevated deck or just off the drive/hot tub area you still needed to go up a dozen or so steps. Was just a bit exhausting for my 81 year husband. The home was clean and had an ample supply of linens, towels and best of all plates, utensils and glassware. Our hosts were very quick to answer any questions we had which was refreshing and very much appreciated. We spent several afternoons sitting out on the wrap around deck. The view of snow capped mountains was awe inspiring. Plenty of wildlife coming and going. If there had to be any issues - - - there was no ironing board and the iron would work only some of the time. The home is for sale so that signage is at the end of the drive and just a bit discomforting. Not that any people drive by and view the home - but it ultimately could have folks looking - which we are not comfortable with while we are there. We would certainly stay here again. The size of the home, furnishings and amenities will easily take on some of our extended family members. Thank you."

"We came to Pagosa Springs this weekend for the first time to attend a wedding. Talk about location for this property! Historic home. Two minute walk to downtown, restaurants, and the hot springs. The home is very comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need. Loved the town, loved the home, we'll be back. Drinking coffee in the morning sitting on the front porch looking at the deer roaming in the yard was very peaceful."
