Diamond in Paradise, formerly Paradise Found, is under new ownership, has been
renovated and is ready to reopen!
This lovely villa located on the quiet east end of St. Croix features three bedrooms,
three baths, a large wrap-around porch, a lovely pool and a fantastic view. Built on an
upper and lower level in the West Indian pod style, the three bedrooms are distinct from
the main living area. This allows guests to have privacy within their own room but still
have easy access to the common areas. The huge, covered porch boasts great views
from everywhere and has one area for outdoor dining, a lounge area facing front and
another lounging and coffee / cocktail area facing west. There is a downstairs patio that
has a great view too! With so many places to be and so much outdoor space, you can
be as together or as spread out as you like. Recent updates to this charming home
include air conditioning in every area, a new kitchen, new furnishings, new mattresses,
updated and remodeled baths and easy access to the main bath. With the entire house
now solar powered, along with Starlink internet and WiFi throughout the property, you
will always be able to stay connected to the outside world, if you want to.
From the driveway, you enter the main living area where you will find the newly
renovated and remodeled kitchen, comfortable seating for six and dining table. The two
bedrooms on this level, both with queen-sized beds and en-suite baths with showers,
are the Brilliant Suite and the Jewels Suite. The Brilliant Suite bath can be accessed
from the kitchen which makes this bedroom a more integral part of the main living area.
The Jewels Suite is in a separate structure, just a few short steps away from the main
door across the covered patio.
The large third bedroom, the Hidden Gem Suite, is downstairs on the pool level and is
more like a little apartment. It has a king-sized bed, a daybed for an additional person,
en-suite bath with shower and a workstation office area. The king bed can be converted
into two twin beds for flexibility depending on the guest needs. “The Captain’s Mess”,
with its mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster allows those early risers to
prepare and enjoy a quiet cup of coffee continental style without opening the main
kitchen. The laundry room with washer and dryer is in the rear area of this room.
Outside you will find the pool, deck chairs, beach chairs and an outdoor shower which is
great for washing off salt and sand after a day at the beach or for just showering off
while you’re watching the waves. There is enough room in the driveway to easily park
two cars. Bed and bath linens, beach chairs, beach towels and coolers are provided.
Although there is taxi service and a new ride share service, VI Hail, on St. Croix, neither
are as plentiful or as easily accessible as you may be accustomed. Uber or Lyft do not
exist here. We recommend reserving a rental car in advance. Please smoke only on
