Lovely hotel, very quiet, great sleep! Restaurant/bar looked great though didn’t go to it did have room service dessert which was delicious. Decent buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice design in room. Although a little smallish in bathroom. Dirty dishes left near lift by some other guest and even though advised reception was not moved at all while I was staying at property 18 hours.

Great hotel within walking distance of centre. Very clean hotel and welcoming staff. Rooms were small but that wasn't a problem as the beds were comfy and views awesome

Staff was excellent and property was clean and safe. Rooms were ample with a comfortable bed. Their morning Buffett was tasty and priced correctly. We went to a Thai restaurant down the street for dinner. 10/10 for everything. We ordered the pork belly noodles, spring rolls, and chicken skewers. Go there quickly.

Stayed 3 nights, good location for walking into town if you don't mind walking a few blocks. The first room I was given was not ready for occupation, work was being done on the shower with wet towels all over the floor, unpleasant. The friendly receptionist came up and brought me another key. Satisfied with my stay apart from a very bad smell of drains when I used the shower the first time, and the wifi was quite poor, constantly dropping (I was on 4th floor).

Friendly staff at reception and housekeeping. Housekeeping manager helped with my suitcase to our car. Great location to walk 10 minutes downtown. Food in restaurant looked good but the vegetarian option not to our taste. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Christchurch.

Checkin was easy, the staff offered early check-in at 9:30am. Room is super clean and new. Available free parking is a good option for CBD and walking distance to amenities.

Stay was just okay. The breakfast buffet was too expensive for what it was. Not much selection and not enough food to cover people. The room service was a let down. 2 days in a row they left dirty cups/glasses but did everything else ok. Rooms were alot smaller than the photos in booking but reasonably modern. Tv system in room was less than ideal. Could not view any live sport due to the fact they had no sky available. Overall the hotel was ok but probably look to elsewhere next time

Car parking a little tight... overall a nice neat property central to business centre and cafes in town.. well worth the walk to eat out...so many to choose from and the Thai restaurant just 2mins away on Colombo Rd fantastic and great value.. must do

Newly renovated property. In excellent condition. I liked the room, the lobby and the restaurant/bar. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. Easily walkable distance to Cathedral Square. Wish I had been able to stay in a property like this in Queenstown.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and extremely helpful. They let us have the room slightly early which we really appreciated after two very long flights. The hotel seems quite new and is spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend it to friends. However, the restaurant food was not great and it was impossible to put the light on in the bathroom without disturbing someone asleep, which led to disturbed nights.

It was our second stay at Carnmore and my positive review from the first stay applies. This time we had a car and found easy, convenient parking. Also had a wonderful dinner at the accompanying restaurant Hoi Polloi.
