"There are lots of hotels to stay at in Kathmandu, but there is only one Shankar. Shankar has unmatched hospitality, with my personal favorite hosts Mr. Puri & Mr. Sharan who are both super stars. I always looked foward to chatting with them at meal times. Shankar has a mid-century modern motif, and it keeps the heritage of Nepal and Newari culture alive. Shankar also has an amazing garden to relax in and connect with nature after a long day in the city. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Kathmandu Peace Home. The hotel truly lives up to its name — peaceful, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are well-maintained, the beds are cozy, and the facilities are perfect for a budget-friendly stay.
The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is convenient, making it easy to access major spots in Kathmandu. For the price, the service and comfort are excellent.
