"We absolutely loved staying in the Captain's Cabin. Bourton on the Water is in a great location for day trips, but we had to pull ourselves away from this adorable and bustling little village. Location of the Captain's Cabin is quiet and peaceful, but just a two minute walk to all that Bourton on the Water has to offer! We loved ending our days cuddling up by the fire and had the best sleep in the charming and comfortable bedroom. "

Everything was there that we needed and I enjoyed the outside space to sit and read a bit and to dry some laundry. "A lovely well presented and equipped cottage, ideally located for day trips into Stratford upon Avon and Warwick. Teabags, coffee, milk, bread and butter were waiting for us when we got there. We loved the peace and quiet of the location and would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone looking for a break in this location."

Very tastefully refurbished & styled cottage with field walks directly opposite (as well as the handy pub!!). Owner put us right at once. Lovely private outdoor seating area at the back with large table. Comfy beds, good bedrooms. Slightly disconcerted by the internal window on the downstairs loo, and no lock. Suggest a curtain across the window would be good."
