9/10 Wonderful! (749 reviews)
Although the area had lots of graffiti, we felt safe in the neighborhood. The hotel was updated and clean. The staff were super nice and helpful. They went out of their way, specially Stefano to ensure we were taken care. For example: he made sure that our request for "to go" breakfasts were ready for our early departures, and made coffee for us from the bar, before the breakfast area was opened. Athena and the rest of the staff were also very welcoming and friendly. Although the hotel is not in historical center, I would highly recommend it, because of the staff.
There is a nice modern bar/coffee shop next door and across the hotel.
