Beds were okay. Room was in shambles. Never saw a desk clerk. Didn't even try free breakfast. Security lock on door busted off: used a filthy chair to block door. Water spigot cracked and mended with tape Bathtub was revolting.

First room was deplorable and the second room was only slightly better. The place is dirty and unkempt and the made excuses for lack of staff but definitely charged high rate for a room in Houston would be 40 dollars. The breakfast was a joke some apples and oranges and bananas with cereal. How this place got a 7 on the rating is a mystery to me. Do yourself a favor and drive on to the next town

This is the best place in the entire area. I travel all over the USA, including the Panhandle and all of Texas, and this place is perfect. Some people look at this place and think it's not good, but those of us who know better see its value.

Not a hotel. Worse than a motel 6. I felt unsafe. No space for cars to park. Worried my car would be broken in. Mattresses outside for homeless. Sketchy people. Thumbs down.

The room was clean for being an older motel. Check in was fine but room wasn’t ready. Refrigerator had a block of ice in the freezer section the size of Alaska and when I told the lady at check out she said yes, most are broken. Speaking of the lady at check out, at 0600 when I went in to get coffee she was sound asleep on the couch, blanket, pillow and all. I came back at 0730 to check out and she was still all cozy on the couch/ her bed!. I know it’s not the Holiday Inn but have some respect for your job.

Older hotel but clean. Nice to see someone keeping the classics alive on those long texas highways on a road trip. Parking was tight parked next door small car no problem. Dogs allowed

The older lady we encountered as the clerk etc. should NOT be in the hospitality business. If not for her sour attitude, I’d have rated our stay as good to excellent.
