When I first arrived, the room had a strong, unpleasant smell that gave me a bad headache. I understand that this is an older property, so I don't necessarily blame the resort for that. I will also say that the resort doesn't quite match the pictures on the website. It looks different in person, so that was a bit disappointing. What really stood out was the excellent customer service. The front desk staff were kind, helpful, and quickly offered to move us to another room. The second room was much better and didn't have the same issue. After the room change, we had a much better experience. The resort has a lot to do, the grounds are beautiful, and it's a nice place to visit and relax. At first, I didn't think I'd want to come back because of the first room, but thanks to the outstanding customer service, I would definitely return.
