Located In The Foothills Of The Ozarks, Enjoy A Peaceful Setting At The Lodge.

This cedar sided home is available for rent as a 2-10 person rental with the option for single room rentals up to the whole house. We have a Master Bedroom suite with bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub and shower. The suites are available on a one night basis, and they include a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot. The whole house rental includes three queen bedrooms, one twin trundle bedroom, a queen hide-a-bed couch in the living room and two bathrooms, one with jacuzzi and shower, the other with a tub/shower unit.

Perfect Accommodations!

Was great for our extended family vacation. 5 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog. It was nice to have such a secluded location with all the amenities.

Quiet and comfortable

My stay here was great! It was conveniently located for the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood, which I was in town for. Plenty of parking, and the area was quiet and secluded. The cabin was comfortable and clean. And the host was very helpful.

Ozark 100 Base Camp

We had a great time at the Lodge, using it as a base for the Ozark 100 trail race. Very centrally located. Great place to hang out for the crew.

16 year old birthday/ Memorial day weekend

We had the best time staying over Memorial Day Weekend. The house was clean and comfy. We had everything we needed to cook, grill, have a fire and relax outside. The creek was close by and gorgeous as always.

Family Adventures

Our family had a fantastic time! There was plenty of room inside. The outdoors was so perfect, the kids had so much fun advertising and playing yard games. Once we found the creek, we spent 2 of our days exploring it. We made memories to treasure at this lodge. It’s a hidden gem. Our host was gracious and helpful. 5⭐️

We enjoyed the pretty, serene surroundings, relaxing, hiking to the creek, exploring, playing games and driving through the surrounding beautiful county. We would highly recommend for other visitors looking for a lovely countryside experience.

Perfect Getaway

The property was absolutely beautiful. Alison was very accommodating and attentive to whatever we needed. There were great walking trails and the kids loved the creek. Would definitely love to stay here again.

We had 11 - and it worked

The family group - 4 adults and 7 children aged 11-17 managed in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house without stepping on each other. The living room was large enough for group gatherings and worked as a bedroom for 3 teenagers. Outside space was great - the deck where the children/ young adults usually ate and the fire pit area was a hangout at night. We all had a pleasant stay.

Love The Lodge!

We loved our stay at The Lodge! We stayed here several years ago and enjoyed it so much we came back. It's a lovely property with plenty of space for our family from Steelville and Cherryville to join us for a cookout and visit. The kids spent time outside catching lizards, cicadas and anything else they could find. We also walked to the creek and found cool rocks and crawdads. The Lodge is very well stocked, had more available than other places we stayed, but it's a quick drive to the Dollar General for anything we needed. The drive into town is beautiful and the kids loved stopping for ice cream while there. We also spent the day at Meramec Springs and enjoyed every minute. We look forward to staying here again!

The lodge accommodations

We have a late check in and it was not quite ready when we arrived and had to wait outside till they were finished cleaning. We met both owners, who were very nice and made themselves available should we need something. The kitchen was had everything we needed for meal preparation and then some. Beds were amazing which allowed for a good night sleep and felt refreshed in the mornings. We did have some difficulty locating extra towels; we did locate them in the masterbedroom. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Family Vacation @ Fair Winds

We looked @ a lot of rentals in & near the Steelville area & decided on: Fair Winds in Cherryville. Alison & Jason were VERY available & hands on owners! We were greeted w/a smile, the home had everything we needed for our family of 8! ( would have LOVED to have had a W/D! ) It was comfortable, pretty, kid friendly & again, I LOVED THE OWNERS! It was service after the rental!!!!! They were easily accessible & eager to help us! I WILL DEFINETLY GO BACK OVER & OVER! FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! The Wms

Didn’t want to leave

Check in a little challenging cuz of remote area and poor phone service wouldn’t allow us to see map but drove to the nearby convenient mart and called owners. They answered immediately and gave us the info we needed to check in properly. My advice open the map ahead of time and screen shot and u will not have that issue. Very clean. Well stocked. Had everything we needed. No complex check out directions. Enormous jacuzzi tub. I mean enormous! Cozy fireplace warmed the whole house. It was awesome. Will definitely go back

The cabin was beautiful and well stocked for our quiet family Thanksgiving. The kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking our Thanksgiving meal. We really enjoyed our our stay in this beautiful setting.

Fantastic little cabin in the woods

Two families stayed together in this fantastic little cabin while a couple family members went for a long run on the Ozark Trail. Great location with easy access to the area and the park. House was clean, spacious, and Wifi was a bonus for staying in touch. Would definitely stay here again.
