About this space
This Light Filled Lower Level of a Home is close to Signal Mtn. Hiking, Restaurants, Bars, & Shopping Downtown, as well as easy access to lots of other nearby hiking trails, waterfalls & more is on a quiet peaceful street, yet is close to everything great that Chattanooga offers! A short drive to both North Chattanooga Riverfront as well the Southside, this entire lower level for guest use includes a private entrance, Queen sized bed, Sitting area, bathroom w/ shower, fridge & coffee maker.
Guest access
You will have access the the entire lower level of the home which is set up as a Studio- type apartment. Includes a Queen sized bed, leather sofa, coffee table, bathroom with stand up shower, mini fridge, coffee maker etc.

Small, but great place to stay

This property is the finished basement of a home, so it’s small and rustic, but has everything you need for a short stay. It’s clean and comfortable and the host is very responsive. You can hear footsteps from the main house above you, but it was never too loud. The property was centrally located near everything I wanted to explore so I never had to drive too far and it was also in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

Super cute

I enjoyed the stay. Very nice and comfortable basement apt. Coffee, creamer and tea were provided. Bed is nice. The only downfall is no separate thermostat. Over all it was a pleasurable experience!

Fall getaway

Expect a location in the lower level of a home in a quiet suburban neighborhood- private and quiet. We found the place to be very clean and comfortable. There are compact appliances but no kitchen- but we weren't expecting to be cooking.

Nice place in a neighborhood

This was a very basic but handy location for us. Accessible to many points downtown at a reasonable price. Beyond their control there was no hot water for the second morning shower, but when notified of it nothing was offered except an apology.

2 nights in Chattanooga

My adult daughter and I stayed here two nights on our way to Florida so we could visit with family in the area. The studio was comfortable, though we mistakenly thought the couch would pull out. Fortunately, my daughter can sleep anywhere and was comfortable on the couch as it was. The room was a little chilly for my liking, but the hostess had covers for the vents as well as a space heater. We had one insignificant issue when we blew a fuse or tripped a breaker because we had too many things plugged into the outlet. The hostess took care of it immediately. Overall it was fine for what we needed.

Enjoyed our stay

Nice little place, with everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood, short drive to downtown Chattanooga, easy check in and host was very responsive to any questions. It got a little cold at times but it was manageable. Would stay again.

Cozy little studio

This little studio was private and cozy. The bed slept amazing! The owners were very easy to communicate with and check-in and check out was easy. Close to beautiful Signal mountain and downtown Chattanooga so it was very convenient.

Bright and welcoming space

Accurate photos, nice little haven. Top quality memory foam mattress and pillows provided restful sleep. About a mile away from the Quarry which is a great public trail for hikers/bikers. Appreciated the kitchen essentials provided, coffee, tea, plastic spoons, paper towels. Safe and well kept neighborhood. Basement level of the home so naturally cool, no AC control in unit so it was too cold for me at first but I was able to open 2 windows to adjust temperature more to my liking and I was comfortable. The only slight down grade was some areas of grout on bathroom floor tile needed some cleaning but not unusual for any other place I've stayed. I sent a hello message to the host and didn't get a reply, but I wasn't asking for anything either so I can't really state unresponsive to a need. Maybe her experience was if she was too friendly guests end up knocking on her door at all hours and she'd rather not be bothered unless a real need. I would book here again.

UTC Graduation/helping son move

This was the perfect solution for us. Our son graduated from UTC Saturday morning and then we helped him move out of his apartment that was located literally across the street. Ample space and amenities for the short time we actually spent in the room. The basement room was a bit chilly, but we prefer that when we sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. A previous review complained about the water not getting hot, but we found that it just took a while to heat up. Both the shower and sink knobs were a bit difficult to maneuver, but not impossible. Overall a pleasant stay!

Lovely neighborhood stay

Unit was as exactly described. Appreciate that it has a private entrance. We didn't have any needs, but were confident that the owner would have been responsive. We had lovely communication with her prior to trip. Loved waking up hearing the birds.

Good Place for the Price

This property is two rooms in the basement of a house. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and clean. There are 2 rooms, bed/living room and bath. Coffee cups and glasses were provided as well as a coffee pot. There was coffee and powered cream and sweetener in the closet. But, no spoons or stirrers. Some sort of old pastry was inside the coffee stand, I'm guessing from previous guest. As others have stated, I would have slept better if there were some sort of lock on the inside door; a simple bolt would suffice.

Perfect for a weekend trip

Super clean and in a good neighborhood (I have a tendency of always putting us in a questionable areas lol). Close to everything you want to get to. If I had to suggest anything , more outlets if that’s even possible? And a trash can in the main area. Thanks for having us, we enjoyed our time!

Safe and private

Prefect for Us

We like to come spend weekends with my parents but my husband can’t overnight at their house due to cat allergy. This studio apartment was prefect for a place to unwind after a long day visiting and sight seeing and we were only a few minutes drive from their house. The location is close is close to all the downtown activities that Chattanooga has to offer and close to HWY 27.
