“Take it Easy” at this waterfront home and enjoy the breath taking panoramic views of Lake Norman. Located in the middle of an 8 mile stretch of open water at Marker D7, you will be in the perfect position to view and enjoy it all!

Rock your troubles away on the front porch or relax under the gazebo on the private pier...while enjoying the sail boat races hosted by the Lake Norman Yacht Club (located just down the road), or find yourself amused by the antics of those playing on the lake. With plenty of space to sun bathe, play in the water, or relax under the shade of the mature trees...you will never want to leave.

If boating is a favorite past time...bring your boat and put in at the private boat slip located on the property. If you do not have a boat, there are several marinas in the area that rent them by the day. Golfers can enjoy the shores of Lake Norman while playing the courses at Trump National Golf Club, Mallard Head Country Club, or many other courses located in the area. There are many fun attractions and activities to keep your family entertained while visiting!

When you find that you must go inside you will appreciate that the main floor has been updated with an open floor plan to bring your family together. The spacious living room has plenty of cozy seating for large families to spread out and catch a favorite TV show, or engage in a little board game competition. Do not worry about missing your shows while getting a snack or a meal from the kitchen...go sit around the built in island and and watch the 20" under cabinet mounted tv. The island is a great gathering place for family meals or you may prefer a more formal meal in the dining room.

When your family is ready to settle in for the night you will find the upstairs calling your names. The master bedroom has full lake views and a great large balcony. The indoor sitting area beside the gas log fire place is a nice place to unwind before crawling into the king size bed. The master bedroom has two bathrooms...a his and hers for those that like to get ready in their own space (a shower in each). The other two bedrooms upstairs share a “Jack and Jill” bathroom between. This bathroom has plenty of vanity space for getting ready and a regular size bathtub/shower. Bedroom #2 also allows wake up views of the lake from the comfort of the queen size bed. While bedroom #3 doesn't look directly at the water, it is a great room for those that like to sleep a little later...affording a little more privacy and less distraction from the views. This bedroom is a great place for those traveling with kids…built-in twin XL bunk beds and a queen size bed creates a comfortable room for slumber. Ceiling fans, tv's, and cozy bedding are located in all three of the bedrooms.

Want to bring your family dog? No problem! This home is dog friendly and there is even a fenced in area of yard for outdoor play. If Rover or the kids need to be hosed down before coming into the house...no worries! The outdoor enclosed shower is a great place to clean them off - or for you to sneak in a relaxing shower in the outdoors! There is also a bathroom/shower on the main level of the home.

Spectacular View!!

If you are looking for a restful time away, with views that are spectacular, this is it. We spent 3 weeks and had a wonderful time, just enjoying the views and wildlife and relaxation.

Heaven on the lake

We had a wonderful week long family vacation at this home. We had beautiful weather, the house was immaculate, and Crystal and her husband responded immediately to our needs when asked! The house has everything you could possibly need and we would definitely stay again! We love Lake Norman and willl definitely be back!❤️

Our stay was wonderful. The property and the views are even better than the photos. The house is well equipped and both bedding and equipment are great quality. Chrissy was easy to communicate with and a wonderful host. You can not wish for more on Lake Norman!!

Perfect in every way

Wish I could rate this 10 stars! The property manager was wonderful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The house was perfect, and oh so clean. Grandkids loved playing in the garage when they weren't out playing in the spacious yard or on our boat. I always wanted his and her bathrooms and two dishwashers, and I got both! It was such a pleasure rocking in the rocking chairs while enjoying the beautiful view. We all had a great stay.

Mini family vacation

What an awesome mini family vacation. Chrissy was very easy to work with from start to finish. The home was as described and definitely meet and exceeded all of our expectations. The kitchen (island) was one of our favorite spots to gather inside. The yard, dock, gazebo and fire pit are amazing. There were plenty of outdoor toys for six adults-paddle boarding, kayaking, floats and corn hole just to name a few. We also had dogs that enjoyed the fenced in yard and swimming in the lake. Chrissy, thank you for your hospitality. We hope to make this trip an annual event.

Lake Norman vacation

The location of the property was absolutely gorgeous. The surrounding area was beautiful as well. The home itself was nice. The mattresses are in need of replacement since they are old. I pretty much slept in a dip. The house had everything we needed and I loved waking up to the sunrise everyday! I did ask the owner to spray for bugs. The weather was gorgeous. Lake Norman itself was beautiful. We rented a boat, jet skis, and went around to several beautiful sandbars. The water is clear and refreshing. We enjoyed going to North Harbor Club by boat for lunch. We rented a boat and jet skis from Lake Norman Jet Skis Rental (CS Rentals of Lake Norman, Inc.)1459 River HwyMooresville, NC 28117, 877-312-7195. I highly recommend this place!!

Everything you need to "Take It Easy"

We just returned from a wonderful week at this property. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our son and his girlfriend (now fiancé) and her parents, oh and the fur babies. Crissy was so great to communicate with and made sure the home was stocked and then some! If you are vacationing with your pups this is the best place on earth to do it! There was plenty of room for them to run in the fenced side yard and they had easy access to the water on the boat ramp. They LOVED it! We also took them to the Lucky Dog Bark and Brew which was a bit overwhelming but enjoyable. There is so much to do in this area even in the off season. We found consignment shops and craft breweries in short driving distance. This property made the perfect setting for our son to propose to his girl at sunset on the dock. The view of the lake is phenomenal! Thank you Crissy for opening your beautiful property so people like us can make memories there.

Amazing

Everything exceeded our expectations. Best spot on the lake. Enormous lake front area with huge dock, two sets of stairs to the lake, fire pit and seating area perfect for smores night with the kids. Kayaks and huge floats, SUP, so much Great Lake stuff all included. We caught a dozen fish off the dock. The house layout is perfect. It’s super clean. The views make me feel that I’m on a bay, not a lake. Crissy could not have been better to us in general and to work with. The Lazy 5 Ranch was one of the coolest things ever. Make sure you pay a little extra to ride on their open wagon. Hand feeding Giraffes and Water Buffalo and Zebras...so cool. The restaurants in the area are good, it’s easy to drive around Mooresville. Lots of stuff around but super private when you get to your house. Definitely returning.

Perfect lake house

Perfect house for a lake vacation. Process was super easy as well as communication with the owner. Everything was provided and they even had floats/toys for the lake. Sitting area on the dock was great with the roof overtop.

Relaxation

Thank you for the most beautiful and relaxing weeks we've had in years. We loved every bit of the view from the still waters of the weekday mornings to the speed boat racing on Saturday. The view was even beautiful in the rain. We had plans to go out, but ended up cancelling them and just enjoyed a slower place to life.

My family stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from Davidson. It was approximately a 20 minute drive to campus however we spent most of the time on the back porch or out by the lake, enjoying the beautiful view. You can’t go wrong with this property!

Fun at the lake

We were in Lake Norman for a family reunion. Four families booked four different homes. Ours was absolutely perfect for our age groups and two doggies! Would definitely book this house again. The hosts were wonderful.

Wondering home with the perfect view

This is a wonderful home, with the best views of the lake. Close to everything but far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. Great communication from Crissy and the house has everything you need to feel right at home. I will definitely come back in the future.

Great Property, location, and owners Will stay again!

Great hosts. Home was way better than description. Spacious, quiet, clean, super comfortable and inviting. Kitchen has everything you need for large family meals. Make sure you have the curtains open for sunrise….do not miss the sunrise! You will not want to leave. Will stay again.

The Point on Lake Norman

Great Property and Host

We’ve stayed in the Lake Norman area multiple times over the past few years and this property has by far been our favorite. The home owner Crissy was very nice and very accommodating. She was definitely the most pleasant property owner I've dealt with on VRBO. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood right on the lake which makes it great for swimming and lake activities. The home itself is spacious and well equipped with just about anything you may need for your stay. It’s well kept, very clean, and well maintained. We just left today and were already talking about planning a larger family gathering back at this property in the future.

Relaxation on the Water

Our family had a wonderful week relaxing on the water and spending time together. We did it all. The most difficult part was choosing how to relax and whether you wanted to kayak, fish, swim, float in the lake or read by the chiminea/fire pit, on the dock, or under the pavilion. We did it all, along with a family game of corn hole and axe throwing! The dogs loved the large enclosed area and it allowed us to enjoy vacation even more. Hardest part was leaving, it was one of the best vacations we've had all together. Thank you for sharing your home!
