The park office is only open Friday-Sunday. We stopped on Monday before we headed home, not knowing they were closed. I like to support Minnesota State Parks by purchasing merchandise from their gift shops.

Felt like staying in the basement of a funeral home. Advertised as a first floor room, but was below ground with windows up high at ground level. Dark brown carpet, layer of dust on everything, old radiator with one setting "too hot". Disappointing.
