Amazing staff, beautiful hotel (the view is breathtaking), great location just a 10 minute walk to main chora but also has restaurants next door to hotel.
Elina and the girls at the front desk was absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to help with accommodations and recommendations. They made it feel like home and so personable. The ladies at breakfast was also amazing and welcoming. Beautiful hotel and perfect location.
Excellent room with balcony over the sea. Air conditioning efficient but needed the hot tub to be switched off as made room very humid. Otherwise perfectly lovely and comfortable room.
Staff were lovely and very helpful.
We had a great experience at this hotel.
The location is excellent — just a short walk from Chania’s charming Old Town. The rooms are comfortable, the shower is fantastic, and the amenities are high quality. One of the highlights was the pool area facing the sunset, and the jacuzzi overlooking the sea is simply amazing.
Breakfast had a good variety, and the orange pie was absolutely delicious — we just wish it had been available more than once! The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel very welcome.
The only downside is the lack of a gym, which would have made the experience perfect.
Still, we would definitely stay here again!
Luxury petite hotel located in great location, very close to the beach and the old harbour / town.
Staff went above and beyond to help with requests.
Rooms were spectacular and the sun rise / sun set views were even better. Fresh bottles of water left in our rooms daily. Breakfast was a typical buffet, however there was always little changes IE waffles one day, pancakes another or the omelette was a different recipe.
Pool was great, clean and often not busy.
The only down side is they do not have a car park. Trying to find a space can be difficult in the area at night, as many people park up and walk to the old town. We had to go a few drives round the block to find something. During the day there is no issues though. Despite this, I would 100% stay here again.
We stayed 7 excellent nights in a Sea View Suite room. The location is fantastic, a 5 minute walk to a stunning beach with lots of choices for places to eat, whilst the old town is 10 minutes in the other direction, all nice and flat so very easy to get around. The view from the rooms balcony was stunning with sunsets every evening whilst using the hot tub overlooking the sea. It would be nice if they could add some shade (umbrella) to the balcony area.
The hotel is very modern and the room was excellent including a fantastic steam room shower.
The pool area is also very nice but it could be even better if there were more loungers as the 4 available weren't enough.
Unfortunately some nearby roadworks caused noise during the day so made relaxing round the pool a but difficult but not the fault of the hotel.
Breakfast each day was great and different choices each day.
We'll definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family and would be more than happy to return again in the future.
New hotel built on a remarkable site directly over the sea, and conveniently located right between the Venetian harbor, old town, and the marina. Pool and rooms all have spectacular water views. Our corner room was especially large and dramatic with crashing waves on rocks all around. Quality materials, furnishings and fixtures (electric drapes and steam
shower) were used throughout and most rooms have private hot tubs either inside or outside. Good buffet breakfast. Some minor adjustments needed to enable dimming lights which overall were too bright. Minor issues given the otherwise high-end offering at Elia Sea Suites!
You better grab a reservation at this hotel now because it's going to be sold out soon as everyone hears about it.
Elia just opened 1.5 months ago and it has some of the best views in town because you are literally on the ocean. Like, you could reach down from your room and touch the water. The waves crash against the building on the first floor and make for a surreal view from your room. And if that's not enough water for you, there's a jacuzzi in your room, right against the window where the waves crash. You want ocean vibes? You're getting ocean vibes.
The hotel is brand new, and it feels like it. Everything in the room came out of a box yesterday and is working perfectly. I stayed in the room by myself, but it's a great size for two people. The shower was huge (and even comes with a sitting (stone?) you can lounge on. The AC was really good too. I came from a hotel before this that didn't go below 23C so 19C felt like heaven since it was 9234982394 out.
My only two tiny pieces of feedback: There's not a good place for a towel for the shower (could use a rack either right outside the door or even inside?), and some times the blackout shades would adjust without you pressing the buttons.
Aside from that, highly recommend. It's a 10min walk from old town, and around the corner is Nea Chora beach and 15-20 restaurants. Best of all worlds, including the ocean world.
Maria and Elina were so friendly and welcoming and helpful. The hotel was in the best possible location, clean and perfect. Will definitely stay again here
This property is beautiful! The view from our room was incredible, the sun set was right in front of us on the water every evening. The included breakfast was also delicious; I enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk downstairs to eat every morning and the hours were great. Great location to walk places nearby. Love, love, love! I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Chania.
We chose the hotel for its prime location, the jacuzzi, and the sea view. While it delivered on those fronts, the service and especially housekeeping was not up to par, considering the rate of over €400 per night. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, and items such as coffee mugs were visibly dirty. Our complaint was not handled in the manner one would expect at this price point.
The one standout was the amazingly friendly lady who cooked breakfast—she was the exception to the rule when it came to the otherwise mediocre service. Overall, while the experience was okay, it’s definitely not worth the money. There are better options nearby, such as SanSal Boutique Hotel, located on the same street.
Kaikki oli loistavaa! Erityismainintana henkilökunnasta; Elina vastaanotossa oli superihana, ystävällinen, herttainen, avulias.
Jos menet tähän hotelliin,et kadu, se on varma!
