"Use this hotel regularly. For its price point it is great. Easy to find, off street parking, clean, and with a good traditional restaurant. Do not expect 5* amenities, or haut cuisine, just friendly service (this time we were looked after by the delightful Manon), a decent room, and good food and wine at a sensible price. We will be back!"

On a passé un excellent séjour dans ce village et les alentours que nous avons découvert avec plaisir. Le joli village mérite le détour et les paysages sont magnifiques."

"Very easy check-in with access to the car park, reception staff very welcoming and spoke perfect English. Room was big and plenty of space for the dog. No kettle in room and no hotel bar. "

"The pictures look better than reality. It was clean but very basic and sparse. Some mould in the cupboard. 1 basic wooden chair."

"Breakfast fresh but coffee was bad. Room. Ice and quiet but bathroom shower not working properly and floor tiles loose. Lovely gardens and good safe parking. I really like this hotel but the refit has been done on the cheap which is disappointing. The bed is less comfortable than before."

"Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. We weren’t even told about the residents lounge ( which we discovered the next morning - a bit too late by then). Rooms were moderately clean, with a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling corners and in the separate loo. One chair was stained. The bed was softer than expected but that’s down to personal choice. The property was chosen due to its location ( just a few km from motorway), but also for the peace and quiet. Alas, we were disturbed at 1am for about 20 minutes due to noisy restaurant visitors leaving the car park, without any consideration for guests. You can guess - the usual, noisy goodbyes, shouting across the car park and lots of giggling, no doubt after several glasses of wine. Unfortunately my poor French wasn’t good enough to explain the disturbance to the waitress at breakfast. So when you book, make sure to ask for a room facing the car park. Breakfast was the redeeming element as there was a cooked element including sausages, scrambled eggs and bacon. When we checked out there was no enquiry as to ‘did you enjoy your stay’ etc."
