"Da Angelo is set in the beautiful countryside, within walking distance to historic Assisi. With a sparkling pool that overlooks the valley below, and full of birdsong and dotted with olive trees and rosemary bushes, it was so charming! The room smelled strongly of air freshener when we entered but it was spotlessly clean and we simply opened the patio doors and windows (with screens) and it was fine. Free buffet style breakfast had variety and was nice and fresh. We also purchased dinner and portions were so generous, we were stuffed. Friendly and helpful staff as well. I also appreciated the early check in. All in all, a great spot to relax, especially before walking all through the hills of Assisi!"

"We had a suite which was HUGE with a spa and fantastic valley views. Parking on the premises if you got there first. Ample buffet breakfast. For such an expensive room there was no ironing board or kettle. Amazing. "
