Staff very helpful. Management could use some work. Location is a mixed use site and should be upfront about this during a search. I had a zoom next to tenants that started fighting early in the am fiscal fight. Reported to the manager his response was they have rights and all he would do is move me when I requested to check out early. Feel sorry for the staff that works hard and the management just wants to fill rooms. I will not be staying at this location again.
Super nice place to stay for a event. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. The room was so nice and remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed for a week and had no issues at all. I loved the wood floors and new remodel. Everything was clean and the staff was so nice and very helpful. Wildfire smoke hit the area during my stay so I spent most of my time in the room which I didnt mind at all. Very nice remodel and great management. I'll definitely put it on my list for a return trip! Thank you for the nice accommodations.
It's clean,
Right next to the Outlets and places to eat.
Grocery store just down the street.
Michelle in the office is very kind and efficient.

I loved the staff and hospitality of the establishment, parking was wonderful, and the kitchen included was really nice. What I didn’t like was the door barely locked, it was kinda hard to get new towels and sheets when requested due to the main lobby office being constantly closed. Although there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper.* if you have a long stay you constantly have to request toilet paper.* Also no AC, No fans! If you get hot there is only the window and the heat does become worse at night. Again not the worst or the best stay but it’s definitely a decent experience. The staff definitely made the stay nicer.

The room was clean with newer furnishings. Compared to other older facilities this motel is a good choice. Rooms are occupied by both overnighters and long term renters.
No a/c….needs a/c. A couple fought all night, yelling at each. Very loud. Got no sleep. We almost called 911. Door lock/key card would not work. Loved the rooms though and and approximity to food and shopping.
Second time staying here. Staff is always friendly. Good pricing. Sprays clean. Have not experienced any suspicious stains or weird things. Great place to stay
The rooms are small but modern & other than no a/c great, especially for the price.
The housekeeping staff is awesome!
Nice & daily visits. Service you usually don’t get at this price. Even helped get me into my room & new cards when my card stopped working.

This place is called Varsity West, has a sign on the exit gate that says something else and the GPS identifies it as Motel 6. There is zero clear signage on where the entrance is. The WiFi was very weak. But it was cheap and clean. That’s all I needed
The room was clean enough, recently renovated. THERE WAS NO FUNCTIONING AC AND THE AC HAD BEEN BROKEN FOR WEEKS! They don’t advertise AC if you look closely at the amenities but it’s common sense that it’s a basic expectation of any lodging in the summer. They should outright state the AC is out and has been out and lower rates. It was 83 degrees in my room at midnight which was just miserable after a 15 hour travel day. I found this to be unacceptable and checked out 3 nights early.
It’s very sneaky to not make guests aware of this fact before they book. The door would not close properly and in fact warped inwards. It looks like it’s been kicked in or something. The toilet was continuously filling which was nothing but a nuisance. The receptionist said my room number out loud in the lobby full of other guests within earshot which I really didn’t appreciate safety-wise as a lone woman.
Honestly, I would stay here again if the AC worked and if the management were honest with their guests, but seeing how long the issue has gone unresolved during the hottest time of the year, I don’t believe they have the best interests of their guests in mind, and you should stay elsewhere.

It was 80 something dollars, so I really shouldn’t complain. However, I would have rather paid an extra $20 for the surrounding places and got some sleep. It was 78 in the room and the A/C didn’t work. The door didn’t latch all the way and oh my god the noise. Idk what the heck the people upstairs were doing but all night, stomping and pacing the room, I could hear metal clanging, but mainly the insane stomping. ALL NIGHT. I don’t wake easily, I have 7 kids at home and can sleep though just about anything. Not here. The noise was so loud I felt like it was either done purposeful, or these people were on some crazy drugs. The check in people were nice, the room was clean, the toilet kept running on and off all night too. Cheap stay, but if you’re looking for sleep, go elsewhere.

This is an old property that is in the process of being slowly upgraded. It was obviously not well maintained before the new owners took over.
The front office and the cleaning staff were friendly, kind, and open to problem-solving.
Minor annoyances:
There are four buildings each with a different letter and all with the exact same numbers. If you are driving around to try to find your specific room, look up to the second floor for the large letter that indicates the building. If you’re old like me and trying to squint at the letters by the room numbers on the bottom floor, you may struggle.
The lock on the first room would not open with the key. I had to go back to the front office and they switched rooms on me to get me a working lock.
The second room door opened, but it took a considerable shove after the electronic room lock indicated it was unlocked. It also took a considerable shove to close and required checking that it was closed because although it sometimes looked closed, it didn’t always catch. This meant I sometimes had to slam the door which I really didn’t want to do.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and keeping the window open while I was in the room helped manage the temperature. There is no a/c.
I have no doubt that the new owners will get this place up to speed, but it is a budget rental so will likely take a while. Until then, please give the staff grace and expect there to be some issues that they will absolutely work with you to resolve.
The room was very clean. Plenty of towels. Fridge was cold. There was a microwave and coffee maker. Check in was super easy and the attendant was very friendly. It was her birthday and she was still working with a smile. Only improvement I could see was that the door was kinda jacked on my room and it was freezing when I got in. No complaints for a great value.
