"It was our first time in the castle itself, usually we stay in the lower hotel but the rates were comparable to the least expensive so I booked one night in the “castle”. The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. "Hotel is in convenient location to Killington peak. Room was clean. Continental breakfast was nice, and the breakfast area was neat. The room I booked was efficiency queen room, it was small and besides the bad there was not even a chair to seat on. Good for one person to crash for one night. Definitely would choose different room type in the future."

"Historic hotel! Awesome corner king room. Yes, trains go by regularly but we had no problems with the "toot toooot" bc of the RR tracks nearby. Non-smoking so theres a cute court yard out back you can go if needed, parking is there too... very convenient to Dartmouth Hitchcock also. For the price well worth it!"

"There was no breakfast, sauna was not working. Staff said that they were converting to a retirement village and it was advertised on his website that there was no breakfast, etc but on vrbo site I saw these things. No fire also. Basically cheaper places elsewhere. Wouldn't bother going back and no pleased with false advertisement."

"It was a bit noisy and can hear most sounds from outside. They were available for a late check-in but parking was limited at that time. They do have an overflow lot a bit down the street. It was comfortable and sufficient for the price."
