"We stayed here 4 nights and pretty much loved it. This is a Swedish style B&B; the restaurant rules are so complex that you cook for yourselves. It’s a full kitchen so that’s not hard. The food quantity is huge so you really get supplies for two meals a day. The area is full of medieval churches, Sweden’s biggest wildlife refuge and historic Sigtuna and Uppsala. "I was in Dalarna during a busy time (Vasaloppet Week) so Stiftelsen Berget was the only place I could find to stay. It worked out fine although it was a bit bewildering at first. But once the staff person got me to my room, it was fine. I had reserved for four nights, but I was offered to stay with friends after that first night so I only stayed one night. I'm glad I was able to cancel the other three nights without additional charge."
