"My review only is parking was un organised, I with a dissabillity, with walking cane. Parked out side our room 31 we went out and on return, our park was taken. We did find one at the very end, but really, should be numbered."

"Resort showing its age. Broken lamp and deck chair with holes. Pool noce but too much debris floating in pool. Restaurant nice. "

"It's an outdoor resort on a secluded island with abundant wildlife. I would (and have) still absolutely recommend, but i think it's good to know going into it. It is not a brand new resort but it is not in bad repair and doesn't feel run down. Everything about the experience more than makes up for minor aesthetic drawbacks. I would also highly recommend looking into trip insurance!! Water was rough getting there, and several other tours with other places were canceled. Thankfully the ferry still ran - but because the ferry is separate i don't think there are any refunds for your room if you're not able to get to the island!! I got lucky, but DEFINITELY something I'm looking into for next time. "

"The Empire is in a great location. Walking distance to the CBD, the Pilbeam Theatre and a shopping mall containing Coles. The rooms are a great size and contain just about everything you need for either an overnight stay or a few days."

"The staff were friendly and explained how to locate the room. Room was very clean and the bed very comfortable, I had a great nights sleep. There was ample space to park a 4x4 vehicle directly outside the room. Had dinner at the on site restaurant, service was excellent and there was a good selection of meals to choose. Would definitely stay here again. "
