Needed a place to crash so we picked this place based on price and previous reviews and it didn't disappoint. The lady who was running the place was very friendly and accommodating, the room was cozy and clean, and even the landscape had a bit of character. I heard another guy complaining in the office saying the wifi wouldn't connect in his room and the beds were a little too squishy for my taste. This was our last stop on a trip from California to Illinois and it was everything my friend and I needed! Excellent service, wonderful bar/restaurant overlooking the city, pool and hot tub to soak weary bones, beds that were incredibly difficult to get out of, just the kind of vibe we were looking for!

Very close to parking, and downtown Iowa City. 1 block from the Englert Theater, so great place to stay for events there. No breakfast included, but just a few steps from great places to eat. Cleverly designed rooms.
