"It's either relatively new or recently updated. Room was large and comfortable with a huge bathroom. AC was stuck on freeze when we arrived but the problem was remedied immediately. Like many hotels they are skimpy on towels. Two people 2 towels...hate this trend. The room was clean and had no strange odors which seems to be common these days. Breakfast was basic and subpar based on other recent hotel stays...we've been on a month long trip so have many to compare. The price was high for location and property in my opinion based on comparisons per the rest of our stays. Parking and area seemed safe. Restaurant across the parking lot has pretty good Mexican food."

"Had a great night at the Myrtles. The dinner was really good had a great waiter (red hair) can’t remember his name but he was funny and attentive to every need. Beautiful plantation love the history we stayed in the woodruff room bed very comfortable worth the money felt like an apt instead of a hotel room. The tour was fun also. The only paranormal thing that happened was my husband and I smelled rose perfume and Mrs winters wore strong perfume so I think she liked the sitting area outside of our room. Only happened twice but it did happen so….. thanks Myrtles for a great night will come again!"
