Lovely stay. We booked ‘blind’ but were very pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel and restaurant is. The pool was great and the food cooked perfectly. Will be staying again.

The room was clean & spacious - they warn there are many insects about Inc mosquitos but guiding a beetle out the front door was a 😱 I also recommend sitting on the lobby terrace in the afternoon; cooler in the shade & great views with a decent espresso! Staying for the Jazz:Refound festival in Cella Monte a few miles away......... you'll need the taxis they can organise or you'll be stuck unless you have your own car!! Do look around the Terruggia itself.......not much to it really but the hotel recommended a nearby restauran, Il Melograno, for my friend with specific dietary requirements and the place was fantastic for local food & wine e.g. olive oil from within a few miles 🤗

Only stayed the one night, met a couple of Brazilians mother and daughter who were clearly being racially abused by the hotel manager. Example given a pool rules notice, stating 3 showers before going in the pool!!! Also told only allowed 30 mins by the pool. They had booked for two weeks but decided to leave. Nobody else was given these rules. No drinking anything by the pool not even water allowed. Taty little bar had no ice whilst it was 32 degrees. Blonde girl on desk was helpful though. Lola the hotel dog was quite funny mind
