Looking back at our two weeks traveling Portugal, my wife and I agree that our two days in this comfy cabin was the most memorable. Staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Breakfast food and atmosphere were great. Cabin was so well done and comfortable. Can't recommend enough. "

"Off the beaten track very relaxing stay good choice of breakfast and friendly staff. The pathways to accommodation, lake etc are not paved so difficult with cases and if you have mobility issues not enough sun loungers if everyone wants to be by the pool lovely views "

"Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the mountain…a/c worked quietly and efficiently. Bathroom small but shower had hot water and ample room to place...

Breakfast was amazing and they have a highly rated restaurant attached that was truly fantastic. We had a wonderful stay and only a short drive to the most amazing scenery at Sera da Estrella park! Highly recommend staying at this hotel. "

"We had a great time and enjoyed the swimming pool. There were few residents and it was very quiet. One member of staff stood out as being excellent and speaking English, we believe his name is Marco or Mario. This hotel could be so much more popular if it were to focus on a specific market. The decor is 50's period but this could add to its charm. It has all the facilities you could want, but would be difficult for disabled people."
