Great Home!

We loved staying here, and felt quite comfortable in the space. It was clean and offered a huge kitchen that was very well stocked which made it easy for us to make large family meals each day. The beds were comfortable and a favorite was the large wraparound deck!

Family Reunion at the Cabin by the Lake

We gathered from out of state for a family reunion. There were 33 of us total. Overall we had a great stay. Things worth mentioning is that the pool was much smaller than we thought, we did have a little trouble with showers for our large group as those were limited in number, and it would have been great if they had a safety gate for the stairs as we had some little ones with us. Other than that, the cabin was perfect. Clean, roomy, we'll stocked. We really appreciated the AC, hot tub, fire pit, and incredible views. The kitchen was great, and we found enough seating for everyone. There was something for everyone to do (3 months to 72 years) and enough space that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. We'd gladly come back and would recommend this to anyone.

You won't regret staying here.

Me and my wife needed a "reconnect"/"recharge" vacation. This was the perfect place. Secluded, but close enough to grocery stores and gas stations. Only minutes to a couple of local marinas. I plan on making this a annual destination!

Impressive

The cabin was more beautiful than the pictures. It exceeded our expectations in every way. We brought our own toaster, but was pleased when we discovered some already there. The driveway is very intense due to its sharp decline, but understandable given the cabin's location. We had 20 people staying and every single one of us never felt like we were on to of one another. Would highly recommend this for any large group. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

Hot tub

Everything about the house was amazing. The only problem we had was the hot tub malfunctioned and the filter was extremely dirty. I contacted the owners 2-3 times during our stay and never got a response, so we didn't really get to use it. The communication with the property owner was the only issue, but the hot tub was a main selling point on renting this house to begin with.

Tusky Valley Cross Country Team

We absolutely loved the cabin. We had a group of 30 cross country runners. We had plenty of room to spread out , plenty of beds, plenty of hot water. The kitchen was awesome. We cook breakfast and dinner every day and had plenty of big pots, pans and bowls to make stuff in. The stove and ovens were huge, 2 dishwashers were perfect and 2 sinks. Also another fully equipped kitchen in the basement! Loved the griddle outside. Plenty of room for the whole group to eat outside comfortably. Plenty of room for the whole group to eat inside also, but we never did, even when it rained,the deck was beautiful! I would highly recommend this cabin!

Huge Amazing Cabin with Beautiful Lake Views

A group of friends stayed at the lake house cabin for a Friendsgiving weekend in early Novmeber. The cabin was AMAZING! Even bigger in person with plenty of room for everyone to hang out in a common area or spread out throughout the house. The weather was in the 60/70's in early November which was perfect for using the HUGE outdoor wrap around porches. Plenty of seating everywhere. Plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms. The hottub, pool table, and foosball table were a huge hit. The kitchen with double ovens, stoves, sinks, and dishwashers was perfect for cooking at the house all 3 days. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need: pots/pans, cutlery, cups, plates, bowls, coffee mugs, coffee makers, toasters, crock pots, etc. The only thing I would recommend would be to bring extra basic household items (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods). There were a few of each stocked in the house, but not enough for a large group for multiple days. The only other item to be aware of is that there are security cameras throughout the outside and inside of the house. The indoor cameras made us a little uncomfortable, but I read in previous reviews that they are turned off while guests are occupying the property. Everyone LOVED the house and we would love to come back in the future!

This is an amazing house on Dale hollow lake. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the wraparound deck. There is plenty of room for everyone at the house, and the kitchen is great for feeding your entire group.

Exceeded Expectations

I already had high hopes for this place, but when we got there, it definitely exceeded our expectations. Enough room so that all 11 of us could spread out, clean, plenty of furniture, all of the kitchen utensils you need and much more. This view and decks were a huge hit with our group, especially the hot tub on the main floor. This house definitely kept us entertained for 4 days and I would definitely come back again with a group around 10-12. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool. It looked pretty worn down so we didn’t even attempt to get in it. Also, clearing a path down to the lake would be fantastic for future guests.

Pool was not very clean and not as big as it looked online. Cameras were everywhere. People felt very uncomfortable, as if they’re being watched. Views and property were great. Plenty of space to hold everyone.

Gorgeous view and lots of space

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had 4 generations gathering to enjoy the lake and time together. The house is spacious, well equipped, and unique. The grandchildren were very impressed. We old folks enjoyed the porch more than I can say. The beds are comfortable. The seating is ample. The appliances, grills, heaters, etc. are well thought through. They even provide a dedicated ice maker. Perfect for large groups. My only concern was the bathing situation for the oldest among use. The tubs are very deep. There is no walk in shower for the elderly. The hand hold attachment was helpful though.

The views off the back deck were amazing! The house was perfect for our big family of 18. The kitchen is amazing for making all your meals. The only negative we had was that the beds were advertised as queens and they were fulls instead. And the bunk room needed window treatments.

We enjoyed our family vacation at Dale Hallow lake July 2022

Enjoyed the 4th of July weekend at Dale Hallow lake. The cabin/lodge was beautifully decorated and everyone had their own bed. Very nicely equipped with everything I can imagine! We rented 2 pontoon boats and spent a wonderful day on the water. Spent 2 more days at the cabin with lots of cousin time, games, food and hot tub. So much fun! I was surprised that we could not see any fireworks—-although we did hear a few. Thank you!
