"We received an exceptionally warm welcome, with helpful staff at the reception and unexpected gift items in the room. Free parking in the basement garage was easy to access, and we were allowed to leave our car for the day after our checkout. Location was as central as it can get, with beautiful views of the Horta harbor."

"This review is less about the property itself than it is about the staff. When we arrived we were greeted by the front desk staff who asked us to sit in the common room while we waited for her colleague. The common room was very nice - all shared accomodations and things to do. I noticed they had beach towels available for guests to use which is very kind. Everything I saw was very clean and tidy. The hotel staff were very helpful at finding us a cab when our arranged cab didn't show up and we were struggling to find anyone due to the holiday on the island. Note that the hotel is on the south side of Madalena and it was about a 20 minute walk to the harbor/main area of town."
