"I was impressed with my stay at the Pierpont Inn. I was there during the off season and there were very few guests. Breakfast on their outdoor patio was very nice, even if the food was standard hotel breakfast food. Great place to stay to visit Channel Islands National Park. Plus you can walk along the beach with a paved trail right by the hotel."

"We stayed on Halloween Eve 2026. We were greeted warmly and with utmost professionalism/care. Please understand that while this inn isn’t the most modern/new, it has its own unparalleled charms. We are Stephen King fans and this locale is perfectly quaint and could easily be reflected in one of his novels. The fact that it is on the beach, has great/easy parking and a powerful shower with proximity to all Ventura has to offer was sincerely appreciated. We’ll never forget our fun overnight stay. We really enjoyed the Witch’s Paddle in the Harbor that evening, dining at Lure, thrifting on C Street and listening to the mariachis at Mission Basilica San Buenaventura 1782. If you’re fussy and looking for a 5 Star Experience this may not be for you but if you want a gorgeous ocean breeze, a view of the waves and a genuine salt of the earth, whimsical experience give it a try. We want to offer our sincere gratitude to Inn on the Beach…we’ll be back:-)"

"Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach is a fantastic hotel with an unbeatable beachfront location! The beautiful ocean views and relaxing coastal atmosphere make it a perfect destination for a getaway. The rooms are comfortable with balcony, and the hotel’s proximity to the beach, Ventura Pier, restaurants, and downtown attractions is a huge plus. The staff are welcoming, professional, and attentive, creating a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!"

"Just a solid cool, well staffed, well maintained hotel. A great bargain. The only downside being that there isn't really a pool or outdoor space like that. Other than that is very special. Highly Recommend if you are looking for a charming hotel. Is it a resort no but it's very special."

"After breakfast, we enjoyed a lovely walk along the beach. It was such a beautiful and peaceful way to start the day! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, and we only wished we had more time to relax by the pool before heading home to the Los Angeles area. Fortunately, it’s an easy drive for us, so we’re already looking forward to our next visit!"
