"For the price, this place was not worth it at all. Yes, it has convenient access to the beach and nearby stores, but the room itself was very disappointing—there were stains on the sheets, curtains, and towels, which made it feel unclean. Breakfast was actually good, and the staff in that area were great—very kind and welcoming. However, the front desk staff during check-in were the opposite—short, distant, and not welcoming at all. When I asked for help connecting to the TV, I didn’t get a clear answer—just “use whatever is on the TV or connect an HDMI cable,” which wasn’t helpful. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. Honestly, the Motel 6 up the street is in better condition for a fraction of the price. "

"The hotel itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a room on the first floor, and it was nice that there was a wall around the patios for security/privacy since the beach is right there. The location can’t be beat as it is right on the beach with some great restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was just Costco pastries and oatmeal, but we supplemented with yogurt and fruit we brought with us. My only complaint is that the internet is awful - wouldn’t matter if I was just trying to plan on my phone, but their tv service is internet based, so we couldn’t watch anything in the evenings. "

"I had requested a room overlooking the garden, but they told me there was an inspection going on and there were no rooms available. But when I checked on Expedia, there were a lot of rooms available. I have stayed at this hotel many times and I’ve not had any issues, this was the first time."

"Swear the valet guys were the best ever. So so helpful. We are a family of 4 and drove with a packed car. The pool was great. The location was so nice. It was great to have a Cali trip and not be in San Diego. The beach wasn’t crowded and the free rentals gave the kids surf board time"
