Just ok type of property, well located though in the city centre of Catania. No parking. No lift. Quite noisy if you get a room facing the street. Breakfast very basic, like a hostel more than a hotel.

In poor shape and poor service

I dont like leaving bad review but there are some things i have to say about this hotel and our stay. our room was quite worn so we found it pretty uncomfortable. The shower space was so worn that you could call it ugly. The fridge didnt work. The locks of the doors both to the hall and to the balcony seemed weak. There were steep stairs to the rooms, which is unconvenient especially with luggage. In our reservation our check out time was signed to be at 11 am. Therefore, at the morning of the departure we returned to our room at 10:30 after having breakfast thinking we still had 30 minutes to check out. As we entered the hotel the staff started saying we should have checked out at 10am and that they started cleaning the room already. We went to our room and found all room and our stuff messed up. Really not nice to find ur belongings like this! The staff should have had my phone number, why couldnt they even give me a call before doing this..?

Billigt o bra men checka inte in för sent...

Vi checkade in på kvällen och fick uppenbarligen ett rum de använder som reservrum då det stod ’privato’ på dörr o nyckel. Rummet var stort som de lovade men hade däremot ingen balkong som utlovat och ett fönster som satt högt upp och inte gick att se ut igenom då det hade klistrats för med någon slags insynsskydd då det vette mot bakgården och ett tak som de använde sig av. Klaustrofobiskt och som att bo i en grotta. De andra rummen såg trevliga ut med mycket ljus och en liten balkong. Anser inte att det här rummet borde hyras ut.

Mi chiedo come mai questo hotel abbia tre stelle, per me ne vale sola una, la pulizia lascia a desiderare, arredamento vecchio e odore di chiuso, alcune stanze sono rumorose per via dei tanti condizionatori che si trovano nel cortile interno, se non si hanno i tappi per le orecchie è quasi impossibile dormire, in bagno non c'è il bidet e la cabina doccia sarebbe da rifare nuova, pareti sporche e scrostate, colazione sufficiente e con prodotti preconfezionati. L'unica cosa positiva di questo "hotel" è la posizione centrale e la gentilezza dello staff, quindi non me ne voglia lo staff per questa recensione negativa, l'hotel avrebbe bisogno, sicuramente, di una totale ristrutturazione.

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole, perché la posizione è stupenda ed il prezzo per quella notte è stato veramente eccezionale, ma ad esempio potevano mettere il bidet e fare qualche accorgimento come la insonorizzazione delle finestre è diventerebbe eccellente

Home from home

We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again just before going back to the u k .the location was perfect we got off the airport bus just near the hotel 4earos each hotel room was big and breakfast was very good lots of restaurants near the hotel and a big market every day just across the rd reception is 24 hours so all ways there to help you thank you we will be back

Above expectations.

Great setting, lovely staff

From previous reviews, I tried to get a room at the back of the hotel but one wasn't available. To be honest, the noise wasn't that bad at all, and was more than compensated for by the view out onto the piazza and being able to watch everybody. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfasts were lovely. My initial impression of the room wasn't good, but once we'd opened the shutters it was lovely and light and airy, and clean. The hotel is a bit shabby, but then so was Catania in general. Just be warned that it's a 2 floor walk up the stairs to get to reception.

One night only thank the stars

Very noisy, be prepared to climb a multitude of stairs and if you are a larger chap the shower is a challenge. Bed was springy and access was next door via a huge steel door into a funky courtyard. If I was travelling with someone I think I would have found somewhere else. Don't forget to put the toilet paper in the bin I was told 3 times and remember to get your passport back.

Perfect!

Right in the center of Catania. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Everything was great for our first night in Sicily! Take the bus from the airport. Taxi wa Los 35 Euro!

Amazing great hotel rare find.

De douche was oud.. Maar behalve dat was het gewoon perfect. Great room great people. Big room, big breakfast. Hot water en great location for seeing all event. Greatest time is 1-5feb. St agenta festival. All pictures within 300m. Room balcony view.amazing pricing, so anyone complaining better take real look. Have visited 500+ hotels. Simply great place to stay.
