"My partner and I had a lovely short stay in one of Caroline’s cottages. Any questions we had, Caroline was always happy to help and also gave us some lovely restaurant recommendations! "We had an amazing stay here in Baltray at Emer’s property. She and Ricky were beyond helpful and welcomed us warmly to their property. This was our first stop of many in Ireland and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer start to our trip."

"I cannot compliment this hotel enough!! I did not want to leave!! The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were amazing. There was a 5000 year old stone tomb on the property down a path. Great breakfast. Everything you need on site and gorgeous!!"

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The bed was very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant and bar, where the live music was a highlight. However, one area that could be improved is the customer service. Unlike many hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe, there didn’t seem to be much of a focus on warm greetings or friendliness toward guests. From arrival through to check-out, I didn’t feel particularly welcome, and the interaction with the receptionist felt a bit impersonal—“just ok and next” summed up the attitude."

"Loved being able to stay in the original "castle" part of the building, but the layout for the lovely bathroom (in a round turret of the building) needs to be rethought. The claw-foot tub presented quite a problem for us mobility-challenged patrons to maneuver, and left a huge puddle behind the tub after showering. Lighting in the bathroom needs improvement for applying makeup, and putting the toilet paper holder on the back wall behind the toilet made it impossible to reach. Nowhere to hang hand towels for drying out after using. "
