"Marilia deserves to be the VRBO host of the year! She was so helpful and accommodating. The house is comfy and spacious. We had a little issue with understanding the heating system but she solved it immediately. We were out of season for the pool. Oh well. We used this as our hub for side trips to various Tuscany towns and it was perfect. Marilia brought us a couple of surprises during our stay which was sweet. One major bonus that you will appreciate if you spend anytime in Italy. You get a dedicated parking spot! Highly recommend! "

"Marilia was a gem. She cooked us a delicious dinner the day we arrived. She arranged for a cooking class on site and connected us with a driver for our day trips. She went over and above to make our stay wonderful. The house was built in 1050 BC and was a treasure to stay in. Many features have been left when modernizing. The cellar is original and a great place to visit or eat while you are there. The views are spectacular. We cannot recommend this house enough!"

"This is a working winery and while the apartments are somewhat rustic and without air conditioning they provided much of the charm and experience that we were looking for during our stay in Tuscany. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wines produced by the winery. Natalia and Roberta were especially friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the buffet dinner that was available on our first night that included delicious food and wines. We also took advantage of the daily breakfast since the location is somewhat remote. Alternatively, one could easily prepare their own breakfast in the apartment kitchen but we opted for the convenience. Although remote the property is conveniently located in the countryside about midway between Florence and Siena which were the two cities we planned to visit during our stay. There is a pool on the property and we did also enjoy a stroll into the vineyards one evening to watch the sunset. The reason for the lower rating with facilities is primarily around some plumbing inconvenience which was not confined to just our unit but was being appropriately addressed by the property and we did not experience any issues on our last couple of days. Overall, our experience was excellent and I would stay there again if I return to Tuscany."

"The property was great particularly the outdoor areas and pool with plenty of big tables, pool lounges etc. We booked the whole property and so had all of the separate parts. Each room or set of rooms had their own kitchen and sitting area. This meant there wasn’t a big kitchen/sitting room for all 10 of us. It wasn’t a problem because the weather was perfect and we were outside all the time. There was a regional power cut while we were there and Agnese and her family were wonderful in help us get through that. They were responsive and extremely helpful. "

"Pure Heaven! Villa Belsole far exceeded our expectations! Beginning and ending with our extremely gracious hosts, Enzo and Christina, who were so responsive and so helpful, the Villa easily and homily hosted our group of sixteen guests. The Villa is a sight to behold, perched on top of a hill with endless, and sensational, views of the Tuscan countryside. Stunning doesn’t begin to describe the setting. The lovely grounds and inviting pool punctuated the exterior of the Villa. Inside, the huge living area welcomed in the countryside with three floor to ceiling walls of glass and patio doors. Breathtaking! The extended dinner table easily seated our large group and served as the social center for eating, drinking, talking, and even making and rolling out pizza dough for the wood/fired pizza oven. The kitchen was spacious and had all the pots, pans, utensils and tools needed by us aspiring chefs. The bedrooms were spacious and well/appointed. The additional large living areas supported several poker games and endless billiards tournaments. In a word, our large group never felt crowded as the villa was so spacious and well laid out. Enzo and Christins arranged both an in-villa cooking class (which was awesome!) and a wine tasting (with lunch) at a local winery, and otherwise were excellent hosts!Overall, the experience rated s 10 and I would stay there again, even with a smaller group. "The place is nice but could definitely do with air con adding. Also worth noting that although the house is very private and exclusively for your use, the owners live on the same property in another building, this was not really clear on the descriptions etc. However they did not intrude on our privacy at all and we still had a good holiday "

"This was a beautiful location and the host Patrizia was friendly and responsive. The pool was refreshing and the view was outstanding. We had a 3 bedroom apartment in the main building and it was quite large and ideal for our grandson as apart from the main stairs it was mostly all one level so he could easily crawl around. Please note that basic amenities are not provided. You will need toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, dish cloths etc. We arrived late so were a bit surprised to be without toilet paper but the host was very responsive and brought us some right away. We went out the next day and stocked up on things we needed and had a wonderful time there. It was one of our favourite places that we stayed and it felt very authentic. It is also walking distance to a wine tasting with lunch in a castle. We quite enjoyed this tour and the location and would definitely return!Grazie Patrizia per la tua ospitalità, abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso e speriamo di tornarci un giorno!"

"Our stay at the Santa Lucia villa can only be described as wonderful. First off the villa is in a perfect location- right in the middle of the Pisa, Siena, Florence triangle if you will. Day trips are easy to do to almost any Tuscan area from the villa. The villa itself was great- all the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, showers have great water pressure. The view from the back porch is incredible as expected. Highly recommend the wine tasting they offer it was one of the cooler experiences I had in my time traveling for 3 months in Europe. My friends and I love the villa and will certainly be reccomending it to friends!!!"
