Castle of Miranda do Douro

Very nice, clean and large rooms. Staff were great and friendly except they didn’t explain the parking very well. They only have parking for about 15 cars and when we called to check about the parking they didn’t tell us that we needed to book that ahead of time. So we needed to find parking in a parking garage about 1/2 km away and pay 26 euros per 24 hours. It was fine parking just a little inconvenient when you thought you would have it at the hotel. Breakfast was nice and had a good selection of everything hot and cold. Location was very nice, right on the river and 1/2km away to restaurants and bars. Quiet at night.

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was wonderful, and the view from the property was beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great experience overall. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit!

Outside dining area was dirty. Placemats and seating was very very dirty
