We had a very good time in Casa Leyani. Our host was very nice, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was healthy and sufficient. She arranged a horse riding for us, which was a very nice experience. We definitely recommend this casa

Recommendable stay in Vinales

Really nice experience, definitely part of making my stay and experience in Vinales very comfortable and. A really nice welcome and talk about what to see and how to get around really helpful in booking tours an my taxi from Vinales to my next town in Cuba. Interested as well if everything worked, came with extra light when now electricity.just very concerned in making the stay as nice as possible.

Letti was a great help getting transportation from airport, tours arranged, and money exchanged. Power was out a couple of hours both days but it is typical of the area (they had battery lights to use). You just go to dinner or drinks during that time because restaurants have generators.

Casa Leyani y Osvedy is the most wonderful place to stay. You could not wish for a kinder nor more hospitable family - spending time with them was one of the highlights of my time in Cuba. The room was beautiful, calm and private with a secluded veranda overlooking an allotment and the hills below. The breakfasts were delicious (especially the coffee!) and I felt extremely cared for throughout my stay (but with plenty of personal space). The Casa has a great location on a quiet side street 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Viñales. I will certainly stay again on my next visit!

Nice place, communication needs to be improved

The location is nice, short distance from center and calm area. Only the neighbourhood roosters will wake you up very very early in the morning. Breakfast is very nice and the room is clean. The communication should however be improved, as the messages sent before the stay were unclear when trying to book a tour or shared taxi. This lead to a misunderstanding and lost money for customer, which is really disappointing.

A quiet retreat in Vinales

The house is close to everything so restaurants and sites are at walkable distances. It is also isolated in a small dead end street which spares the visitors from hearing the noisy motorcycles and allow them to spend quiet and calm morning. Leyani prepares a nice breakfast and is always available for her hosts. Osvaldo is a great farmer. He's growing most of the vegetables that they are eating which is a crucial know-how in a time of crisis. Tomato, cabbage, garlic, squash grow right next to the garden. The roof offers a nice view on the surrounding houses and some mogotes. His wife is adorable.

The house is very clean and there is a very good pressure of water as well as hot water which we really appreciated. We were disappointed to learn only when we arrived that Leyani and Osvedy are no longer living in the house but in the USA, especially because I was communicating with Leyani just before traveling to bring something that they might need. We are writing this evaluation once our trip is over so that we can compare it to other "casas particulares" where we stayed for the same price. What we liked: the house is very clean and it is in good conditions as per the photos, there is a big terrace, the shower has a very good pressure of water and there is hot water all the time. All the region is very safe. The restaurants are at a walking distance from the house, as well as the small downtown. What we did not like (and that we found in the rest of the houses where we stayed) soap is not provided, the breakfast is the same every morning, no variety of fruits for instance, you have to ask for sugar, otherwise there is honey for the coffee, there was no cheese (for information it was available in Viñales and in Cayo Jutias) Internet is upon request (available only when the person in charge is in the house) but this was not a problem for us.

Vinales merita una sosta di almeno 3 giorni. La casa è perfetta, confortevole e luminosa, con un salottino interno e una meravigliosa veranda con giardino dove la mattina ci è stata offerta una ricchissima colazione, la migliore di tutta Cuba. Siamo stati accolti da Ledys come persone di famiglia, ci ha aiutato a organizzare l'uscita a cavallo, a prenotare il taxi per la giornata al Cayo e soprattutto a cambiare i soldi. Il suo aiuto è stato davvero prezioso per noi!! Leyani e Osvedy hanno fatto felice il nostro bimbo riempiendo una piscina tutta per lui, ci hanno accompagnato in fattoria a conoscere gli animaletti e ci hanno raccolto frutta fresca dal loro campo. Super verblijf gehad! Helaas konden wij niet goed communiceren met de host vanwege ons gebrekkig Spaans, maar daar kwam Ledis om de hoek! Geweldige echte Cubaanse vrouw die alle ins en outs van de omgeving kent en voor alle dingen die je wil doen wel iemand kent. Wij hebben een uiterst zorgvuldig verblijf gehad op een klein lokaal boerderijtje die van alle gemakken is voorzien.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein Stück Himmel auf Erden

Eine fantastische Unterkunft in ruhiger, aber trotzdem zentraler Lage. Paradiesische Gartenanlage mit eigenem Anbau. Schöne Zimmer mit angenehmen Betten. Leckeres Frühstück. Eine sehr herzliche Familie als Gastgeber, die zum Glück auch Englisch spricht und in jeder Situation weiterhilft (Transfere, Ausflüge etc.) Ich komme gerne wieder!

Die vielleicht schönste Casa in Viñales

Das ist DIE Casa der Wahl, wenn man in Viñales richtig ankommen und in die Atmosphäre dieser wunderschönen Gegend eintauchen möchte! Ein echter Glücksgriff, nachdem ich kurzfristig umbuchen musste: Die Lage ist hervorragend (ruhig gelegen, trotzdem nahe des Ortskerns), der Blick von der Dachterrasse auf die Berge ist fantastisch, das Zimmer ist kompakt aber komfortabel mit einem sehr bequemen Bett. Das wichtigste sind aber zwei andere Punkte, die ich so erst vor Ort bemerkt habe: Die Gartenanlage mit Terrasse, Pavillon, Schaukelstühlen und einem Blick auf den Gemüsegarten ist einfach toll. Wenn hier die Besitzerfamilie das am Ernten ist, was beim nächsten Frühstück auf dem eigenen Teller landet, dann ist das zu 100% Ökotourismus a la Viñales. Hier kommt wirklich alles aus dem eigenen Anbau, von Mangos über Bananen, dazu Eier der eigenen Hühner und Kaffee aus dem Nachbartal. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum, das jeden Feinschmecker mit europäischem Anspruch mehr als glücklich machen wird. Alleine die Pfannkuchen mit selbst gemachter Marmelade oder Honig vom eigenen Bienenstock. Wahnsinn. Punkt zwei ist die freundliche Familie, die einem total unaufdringlich mit großer Herzlichkeit begegnet und die man unweigerlich ins Herz schließt. Das macht enorm viel aus - hier fühlt man sich authentisch willkommen und hat bei Bedarf immer jemanden zum Ansprechen, kann aber trotzdem für sich sein und die Seele baumeln lassen. Leyani spricht Englisch und hilft beim Organisieren von Ausflügen.

Toller Aufenthalt im wunderschönen Viñales. Herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, wunderbares Casa, nur zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns vier Tage lang wie zuhause gefühlt. Bei der Organisation von Ausflügen oder Fahrten wird geholfen.

La mejor casa particular de Cuba

Disfruté mucho de mi estancia de 3 días en la casa. Toda la familia era acogedora y sonriente y me sentí como en mi casa. Mención especial para Ledy, que me dio muchos consejos y me hizo un tour increíble por Vinales. Lo recomendaría al 100%.
