"We absolutely loved our stay at Castelo Guest house. The room was beautiful and even though we didnt book a balcony room there was a shared space that we could drink our morning coffee and look over the beach. The location is ideal just a few minute walk from a lovely beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful and ths room was immaculate. I would recommend this place highly."

"PROS: The location is perfect right at the square and steps away from the beach. The breakfast is good and you can count on good cold A/C. You can borrow a towel for the beach with a ten euro deposit. CONS: The rooms themselves are in really bad shape. The bathrooms are extremely dated and mine was dirty. "We had a wonderful stay at Tivoli Carvoeiro and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Algarve. The property is beautiful, with breathtaking views, outstanding staff, and an excellent breakfast each morning. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The only minor disappointment was that we paid extra for a higher-category room with a better view, but the view wasn't quite what we expected. "The check in process was smooth and front desk staff was helpful. My room was clean and came with a free bottle of water. The air conditioning worked very well. The hotel has a pool and outdoor bar. Food at the bar was just okay. It was difficult to get Ubers from Carvoeiro to Portimao and Praia da Rocha, so keep that in mind if that’s where you’re planning to spend most of your time."

"Friendly staff, beautiful property, pool was a great addition because the beach is a walk (steep uphill back). Dinner was basic and I wouldn’t recommend unless you are in a pinch and need something close."
