This boutique hotel was situated so conveniently on a quiet street, yet close to everything in the walled city. It is a beautifully restored mansion which lends itself to an exquisite, relaxing, zen-like refuge...our room was huge and so tastefully appointed. It would be a 10, were it not for the fact that after the first night’s hot- spurt shower, we were unable to get hot water or even a decent trickle of water from the showerhead, despite daily assurances that it would be forthcoming. Had to shampoo my hair in the sink and take sponge baths from lukewarm water from the sink. Apart from that, the staff could not have been more wonderful and obliging. Our daily breakfasts in a semi-open air atmosphere was fresh, delicious, ample and delightful!
