Cane Garden Bay Beach Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"My wife & I used to go to Florida. Then we learned Floridians like to go to the islands. We've been to many. This was the best beach with calm waters & the best hotel we've ever stayed at on the islands. That said we don't like the all inclusive thing because we rent a car and self cater. The roads in the BVI can be a challenge, but if you take old fashioned notes and don't really on Google "offline" you can do this! It's a quick ride to the big city if you're not afraid! That said, taxis are easily done. We were present for the "Poker Run" and it was a great thing to experience! We'll be back!"

"I have been to Tortola several times and needed a hotel that was convenient to the airport for an early flight. This hotel checked that box. Staff was lovely at check in, the pool bar and the restaurant. Food was pretty good. I paid extra for a ‘beachfront’ room, which was in fact the closest to the beach, but on a slight downslope from the hill in front of beach so there was not a beach view from the room or front porch. More of a ‘dead grass’ view. Bed was comfortable but the room was a bit run down, bathroom was older, etc. That said, the price point was good. You get what you pay for! Long Bay Beach resort is quite a bit nicer with better views and vibes, but at 3x the cost and being on the other side of the island, probably not worth it."

"This property is amazing. The view is gorgeous. The place is huge. No better place to enjoy breakfast or the sunset view as the sun sets over Yost. Tom was a great host and was very communicative. We are so happy we stayed here. We had a large group and the property was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a beautiful home with beautiful views on the west end of Tortola."

"You can’t beat the location of Nanny Caye if you are using the marina. Keep in mind that boaters start their mornings very early and the staff starts using the leaf blower at 7 am!!! Other than that, the room and property are fabulous! Avoid Peg Leg bar/resteraunt! The staff is rude and you’ll wait over an hour for lunch and 2 hours for dinner! Go to Omar’s in the property as everyone is friendly, service is great and so is the food."
