「We had a large group of friends and families (15 adults) staying here for the new years. The main upstairs area was very spacious and comfortable and we spent the majority of time there. There was lots of additional space in the basement but didn't end up using it. 「The pictures do not do this place justice !! It is absolutely STUNNING !! Bright , airy and spacious . The bedrooms are adorable and all 4 of us slept like babies during our stay. 「We absolutely loved our stay at the Westlake Milford Lodge. The cottage was cosy and quiet. It was exactly what we were looking for to enjoy a romantic New Years. The cabin was chilly when we arrived but there was an extra heater provided to help warm us up. We were happy to have read a previous review telling us to bring slippers. We used the BBQ provided to cook our dinner one night.
Our only suggestion would be to have a larger mat at the entrance as our boots were very snowy & sloppy each...
